Why no one time skill point refund like last update patch?

When the patched craglorn in they gave people with certain skills refunds for those skills when they nerfed them.

Why was the same treatment not given in this patch to various classes, including DKs with molten whip? Since they gutted any use of molten whip I had why can't I get a simple skill point refund like in the past for 1 skill?

Very angered by this because I sure as hell am not going to shell out 20k right now just to change one morph due to ZOS gutting it.

I hope they give us refunds like they initially did in the future.

I find the fact that they did not allow a skill point reset for changed skills an arbitrary change from the past. There's no good reason not to. All it will do is *** off the players who really cared.

To answer your question, yes they should offer a skill line respects where changes were made.

This has been subject matter of a couple of polls that I put out after the pre-holiday massacre patch.

79% of all respondents believed that respec cost was in need of adjustment and a further poll of respondents in majority believed that a refund of skill points after a significant patch affecting classes was warranted.

My contention is simply that Zenimax does not care about the gold sink of respecs or the unfairness of not refunding skill points to classes that receive major changes in patches.

I hope that clarifies the dead horse analogy.
