LOL ESO tells me my IP address is unrecognized

Just told me when I tried to log in from the same computer I do every single time I play this game that it's a different IP address then before. Had to copy and paste a code from an email they sent me.
What the heck is wrong with their system? I am playing the game fine right now but this has never happened before.

1) Users: Fix game/class/bug
2) Zenimax Online: Brings servers down and fixes issues and deploys patches.

✭✭✭✭✭They server reset and most likely lost or corrupted the key for your iip address. Since no record is found they verify your account. Is not nirmal but understandable after major hard rests/patches
pTl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting. -

Have you received other e-mails from Zenimax? And are you trying to do this more than once in ten minutes?
And also people, is reading that difficult? The announcement on the login screen told you that this was going to happen.----

Yeah, that's what I figured, finally got the patch, and it required me to enter the OTP, wasn't hard to figure out why it happened.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

When the login servers are being hammered the emails seem to get lost in their processes, so you can go 2+ hours without getting an email. If you're lucky you might manage to get one, but the issue should resolve itself (it did for me) when I tried during non prime time hours. -
