✭✭✭✭✭Just an FYI for all those who hate patch day downloads, if you leave the launcher running it will automatically download and install the patch when its available, thus usually when you are at work/afk it will patch and when you come back its magically delicious.Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting. -

I decided to do some exploring. Those Speedtest results were on the PC downstairs. My PC upstairs has been plugging in to a router this whole time. Plugged the ethernet cable directly into my PC and I'm up to about 3 Mbps.gougefub17_ESO wrote: »Maverick827 wrote: »500 kb/s

thats generally a REALLY bad idea for security.....
i mean REALLY bad... unless you modem is supplying your computer with a private IP that is....I play every class in every situation. I love them all. -

It must be all the people downloading. Because my speedtest is saying 22.6gb dl and 2.5 up sooo ...damn you zenimax put more resources to ME for downloading

Just for the record your math is off. As of the 4th of July it will only be open for 3 months, and only two of those are additional subs. First month was included.

They only let us download the patch when server maintenence is done. Thus everyone downloads at the same time and the server resources are bottlenecked.
Why couldn't we download it in the background in bits and pieces like every other MMO out there instead of all at once AFTER maintence? -
Mataata✭✭✭I really, REALLY wish they'd work on their update compression. A few changes to shaders, some switched balance numbers, and a dungeon that's already in the game shouldn't really be so incredibly large. -
