I'm not a fan of achievements either, but you're really taking it way too seriously. It's not worth all these emotions. If it bothers you so much, go to your profile, click Edit Profile and turn off notifications.

Problem for me is that they changed it so I have to be notified about posts posted in the same topic as I have written in, in order to be notified if someone @/quote me. Or something that I have missed?

You gotta admit, the forum achievements are at least as engaging as, say, the fishing achievements in game.
