Yeah, this would fit better in an off-topic forum, but we ain't got one - so ...

Used to see threads like these years ago, and it was fun to read the responses. So, the setting is on a neutral plane; on one side you have Molag Bal in all his hateful glory, and on the other side you have Sephiroth at the height of his Final Fantasy VII power.

Who wins?

    at the absolute height of his power, its entirely likely Sephiroth could at least injure Molag Bal to the same extent as the Vestige does in the final fight.

    but these deadric princes just go beyond the norms, to the point they can only be defeated, but never killed.

    In some ways the same is kind of True for Sephiroth, but his power was always much more mundane. granting the fact that they reached the insane near god like levels you can get in the Final Fantasy series..

    But thats the differance right there... Sephiroth was God-like, Molag Bal for all purposes IS a god.

    the problem with this question is, both of them cant really be killed, only weakened or temporarily banished from existence...

    I love Sephiroth so much and the pink shades I am wearing have huge lenses. But honestly in a fight, Molag Ball would obviously win. It's ironic but when you finally face off against Molag Bal all souped up like Castiel charged from the souls of purgatory that encounter did remind me a lot of Final Fantasy 7 and 6 with Kefka.

    But Sephiroth is a mere hybrid alien, Molag Bal is a Daedra Lord and while both really can't or in Seph case won't die. Molag Bal's power and command over an entire population of Daedra would overwhelm Seph.

    An interesting matchup would be Divine Kefka vs Molag Bal.

    Well, you know, ive defeatet Mr.Bal. He was a sore loser and told me that this all was part of his plan. Yeah right.

    I had the - unpleasant - pleasure to get to know a few of his buddys in sanctuary and other dimensions. They also where poor trash talkers, so i dont give a damn about it.

    If i can defeate this guy with a little help of his competitiors, sephiroth would do the same.

    On the other hand, last one standing is alway me, so i declare myselfe the winner. B)

    The answer to this is obviously. Even if Sephirot and Molag would team up, the VR6 multimob pull would anhilate them. >:)
