In Oblivion they were short, in Skyrim they were the same height as other people, and now in ESO, theyre short again.

Maybe after the routine purges of Valenwood by the 3rd AD thalmor they have evolved slightly to be more in line with other races height.

They are supposed to be short, yes? And the women are supposed to be taller than the men.

You know that old saying "Eat your greens and you will grow tall"
Well, due to the Green Pack (Which is no longer in place in Skyrim), they never eat their greens.

I dont play them because they are too small for my preference. I am even unhappy with the height of dunmer/breton. Orcs and Altmer seem about right. I think in ESO, space aliens mated with asians to create the Bosmer.

LoL, this. I made the smallest Bosmer possible and it looks like he's riding one of those dwarf ponies. At least it's proportionate though.

I totally wouldn't mind that they are short, if their heads were scaled down to fit their bodies. Have you seen their heads? It's absurd.

Interesting.. I've never noticed that, and I found no evidence on that claim on wiki or uesp.. are you sure?

And I was wondering, when I first played Dominion, where all these dwarfs come from. xD

I think he meant the Green Pact just isnt as important outside of Valenwood. So Wood Elves in other provinces probably dont give a damn about it.

That's not a wood elf, she's a khajiit (see tail). She's my character, actually; I'm the one who submitted the Breton calcinium armor set to eso-fashion.com.

Her proportions are not related to height -- her sliders have minimized torso, chest, waist, gut, leg, and hand size (everything but hips and butt) on a thin body template. So you get a slightly large head, combined with an oversized Breton helmet.

Wood elves were always meant to be small (from what I remember of the lore) but Skyrim didn't include (noticeable?) racial height differences for some reason. ESO's been better about racial differences in general (skin/hair/eye color too), but I kind of miss the ambiguity between races.

Hahahah this is exactly something I had in mind too when I made my tiny wood elf chick xD I remember lmao-ing in cyrodiil about the horse size thing when we were all lined up with guildies and there was this smallish khajit who looked like he was riding a shetland pony compared to rest of us that were high elfs and nords etc lol But now with the slider turned lowest on my wood elf's height, this picture right here is probably very accurate :D
