Make bound armor an aura instead of a cover up costume?

Should bound armor be made to take on the form of an Aura instead of a costume? many (myself included) find that it hiding our armor can be quite harsh especially when you'v worked so hard on your choice of look.
some would rather see bound armor improved in look rather then revomved or made into an aura.
so basicly vote away and maybe add opinions!

I can see where you are coming from and I believe they could just get around all the lack of costuming options by providing more choices for each piece, such as: equip as costume, show armor, hide armor etc.

I'd love Bound Armor, if it looked like the "True Bound Armor" mod for Skyrim - a semi-transparent armor OVER your usual armor. But even the usual Daedric armor looks REALLY bad in this game.

well the idea is to make "bound armor" not show as armor but a particle "glow" or to just improve it, not sure how thats not off the topic name.

Thing is, in previous Elder Scrolls games, bound armor/weapon gave a Daedric skin to your gear, so going the other way would "break" the background in a way.

Problem is, Daedric heavy armor in TESO just looks terrible, and the color pattern for the skill is particularly bland.

true problem is most bound armor was never pure white nor was daedric ever really bad so i agree on that one

No, it's great exactly how it is.

It's fine as it is, it's supposed to be a paler version of daedric armour, it's a ghostly daedric overlay.

If there is one thing The Elder Scrolls has been about, it is the absence of clones. With so much character customization and different styles of armor, why should all sorcerers who use this ability be forced to look the same?

No, it's great exactly how it is.

Because its summoned bound armor that's why. If you've ever used Bound Armor in a TES game, you'd recognize this spell/power immediately. Its a power, not clothing. Be happy its a toggle in this game and not a clicky that goes away after so many seconds like others. Its Conjuration school, just like atronachs and the rest of it.

My only complaint, is that there are no bound weapons to perfectly match the bound armor.


Bound armor is fine. It suits the Dark magician look as mystical armor. I'm not opposed to a few adjustments perhaps, but it's bound ARMOR. Not a particle glow.

Bound Armour has always been a replacement in Elder Scrolls. There is no reason to go against the lore and change it.

In addition to the comments saying it's fine and within Lore, turning it into an Aura would simply make it a Shield Spell that is always on. Also it means your magician doesn't look like they're wearing a dress anymore

Its very nice while you are a low level, but when you reach VR levels, you can craft very nice armor and use costumes like Mannimarco's one... I totally agree with the aura idea of Bound Armor.
