Siege Warfare quest bug- found workaround

I guested into a yellow campaign just now to make a skyshard run since Bloodthorn is all blue, and I tried the quest just for kicks. Surprisingly, it worked and now I can get Cyro mission board quests. Can other people try this to confirm whether or not this is a consistent workaround?

If you are on the North American megaserver, it seems this issue was fixed in the version 1.1.5 patch that was applied with today's maintenance. It's here in the patch notes.He will bring life to the dead, hope to the living, and for him the Gate will open.
