Another idea I've been toying in my head. Looking for general opinions & thoughts on the idea/build.

    i made one, quickly went with 2 heavy and 5 light. but it works for the most part. destro/restro staffs

    been tryign one out so far so good but then she is only lvl 20. Two in my guild do the same as manyrabrats with a combo of light and heavy armor. I think any racial armor effects could play a part in the build.

    I rolled this combo just to see what all the talk/whining about Resto/Destro builds was about. Almost 30 right now, it's been like playing on easy mode. Even sub 15 with just the Resto was easy. I did train Destro early so I could slot it for free leveling. Swapped it in/out with Soul

    Try it, Light armour with destro/resto staff build in any class seems to be the only sucessful way to play as of now.

    MEH I found my Restro Staff Templar.......Not enjoyable EXCEPT for healing. Its 2 handed Sword all day for me, I wreck face against almost anything thrown at me. Be even nicer if I had the build completed.

    This is to discuss a Light Armor Tank. Sword/Board for blocking, etc.. Not Resto/Destro staff DPS Templars. lol

    Seems pretty interesting. I've yet to try Dampen Magic. I prefer Absorb Magic from SnB, since it'll give me a heal, uses less stamina than Dampen Magic and it doesn't cap out, from what I can tell. If an enemy has a strong casted spell, I'll get that big of a heal, making magic casters very easy to take out.

    My Resto setup has been changing around since I'm still leveling up my skills. But your setup is good for backup heals while ranged tanking. And I do all 49 into health. with enchants mostly into magicka with a couple stamina. VR8 here.
