Repeated loss of comm between game client and game server

I am frequently getting a sort of 'disconnect' where the game client is running fine, but suddenly the world stops responding. Symptoms: Hit "E" to interact with lootable/NPC/node, the E prompt greys (for about 10 sec then resets to white) but nothing happens; try to chat, nothing appears in chat line, new chat lines are not appearing, player avatars are standing still, and the only envitonmental movment is client-side automatic animations. Game client does not crash, it keeps running fine, I can move around in the local area and page through various interfaces, but it's like being a ghost, I can't affect the world, no communication is happening with the server. Can't even log out to character selection. Solution is just to quit game and restart.

Problem is not my intenet connection - I can tab out and verify connection is live with other apps/browsers. It's something causing a drop in communication connection between my game client and the game server even though internet connectivity is fine.

Can't determine a common pattern of activties or time interval, it seems random. But in last couple of days it has spiked in frequency - had at least 6 in a one hour period last night, have had 3-4 this morning over about 90 minutes.

Very annoying - is this a known issue? Any suggestions?

Have had it like this since start, a few weeks back. Since an hour or two, I can't even log in. Get to character selection, but game is loading character and zone, it loads forever and eventually, I get kicked out of game.

Sure, patience is golden, but this is getting XXXXXXXXX...
