Demotivated at and denounce Physical attacks and possibly defense...

So walking through Craglorn and experimenting with stamina again, I found myself up against a mob of scorpions. After dying 2 times to the mob by use of physical attacks, I watched a DK with light armor magic staff quickly make work of them without taking much damage (Note: He was blocking with a staff). I was in HEAVY ARMOR and died super fast with current level armor. Medium armor has the same results. So after observing the status, I conclude that it doesn't matter how much stamina you have if you are dead. If I can zap a mob to death fast enough, the mob cannot kill you. So back to the drawing board with this "stamina dps" stuff. If you have a stamina dps that can clean up mobs easy , then post a video of it. Whats your opinion?

Besides that, I find myself grinding naked and achieving better results while I save up enough money to reskill for the light robe sets since heavy armor has proven to be cost inefficient. If you are always dying and the armor does not provide enough defense to the point a tank can be a tank, then what use is it? Seriously though, I have grinded naked and not seen much change in the rate of death, but much better results now that I don't have to pay for armor repair. Growing tired of testing these "stamina" builds and think I will just have to go magic with all my characters.

Someone also wrote in one of the guilds I am in that he is taking exactly the same damage butt naked as in heavy armor even after throughout testing.

And yes, I would also like to see a working stamina build. In my case for a templar using 2H weapon and wearing heavy armor.
Note: I do not want to be top Dps, I don't have delusions and I am a healer in dungeons anyway, I would just like to be able to solo till Craglorn without dying every few minutes.
I will also experiment on my day offs, but if someone has a solution, I am all ears. I never look for builds in mmos but right now, due to the current circumstances, I do not see many options besides that and trial and error, and since respec costs a load of money, I would rather not waste all my gold, thank you very much.

I think it's melee that needs the most work with stamina builds. Have you tried archery? People either love it or hate it but those of us who love it REALLY love it. I do.

I would either have to respec for that and hope that I like it or collect all the skyshards in the next VR zone (Rivenspire I think) and spend all the skillpoints on bow, level it up and.... Hope that I like it :P

Archery was good for a bit, but then found I got better results from zapping people. Its becoming annoying. It would be nice if stamina actually had some kind of worth. A mage with no charge into stamina still seems to block extremely well just like a knight with sword and shield. Its only a minor difference in damage mitigation.

But the naked thing is the last straw. How do I grind naked and get better results than when I'm fully armored in heavy armor? This is just sick... Take about just as much damage from the v12 monsters with or without the armor on, but at least if I die I don't have to pay that lame gold sink cost for gold I am not getting.

Heavy Armor + Bow is what I use for "trash" packs in Crag.
Venom Arrow/Bombard/Volcanic Rune + 2 skills of your choice.
I can clear the mobs easily.
As a melee, DW fails horribly against packs.
I tried 1H/S, Low Slash/Invasion + Class skills, with use of just 1 healing potion, I can actually take down a pack of 3-5 mobs in Craglorn.

EDIT: Just for clarification, I have absolutely no points in Magicka, fully softcapped HP/Stamina.

Im glad to hear someone is making it work, however I just used 4 moves and cleaned the crap out of some mobs naked with a staff. Something is just not adding up...

Well yea there is that, I've seen a V3 Impulse spammer clear the same pack after the respawn like half the time I took as a V12, so yea, there is that...

Wish stuff like this, you would think they would have fixed this by now. Before realizing how lame stamina builds were I was cool all the way, but paying to play for a build that is destined to be underpowered is not cool. They really need to fix something. Until they do, Im going to exploit the crap out of the mobs by sticking with magic because they made it so insanely powerful over stamina.

Why fight harder if they don't want to fix them? All stamina weapons include: bow, one handed and two handed swords, daggers, axes. If you use any of these, you will not be hitting very hard in comparison to a staff by far. I don't think that magic really needs to be reduced because of this, but that stamina needs a rise in damage as a whole. Literally I do 2-3X more damage as a magic user(And even more soon after more upgrades) than I do as a stamina dps.

Also Stamina DPS significantly pays for it a lot more being that stamina is used up on sprints, blocks, and Anti crowd control. By the time its said and done, it is more of a waste than it is to actually use this for dps when you have an entire bar that kills targets faster and more efficiently so you don't end up having to block or run.
