Templar PvP builds - What works for you?

I'm interested in any suggestions for what works for you in AvA. Sometimes I go out in small groups of 2-4 and other times I run in larger groups of 8-12. I'm not really looking for a 1v1 build or a healing build, but if you have one to share, please do. Also, feel free to link any builds.
I can go light or heavy armor. Right now I'm running with 1h+shield and resto staff. I'm still learning and changing skills all the time, so let me know anything you want to share about gear, skills, point allocation, whatever.
I've done pretty well with the 1h shield, mostly tanking and cc'ing one target at a time. This is more successful in group play, I think. It doesn't put out a lot of damage, but I can stun and interrupt and be mobile (except when DK put talons down, it is a hard time).
EDIT: I can spam heals in light armor, but our guild AvA group has a surplus of healers now, so I'm more interested in support and pk builds.
Note: I'm posting here because I don't think this fits in the Alliance wars section. I couldn't find a discuss specific classes or builds section, so I'm posting in general.
