Crystal Fragments Question

I just started playing PVP again last night and noticed on my death recaps that the spell "Crystal Fragments" shows pairs of hits every time for the same damage. Is this a UI error or does that spell hit twice for the same damage?

✭probably UI bug, otherwise, you should be dead by the last crystal frag, unless you have 3336+ health.1 -
Amsel_McKay✭✭✭✭✭I got a heal in before the second set hit me so I was not sure. I figured it was a UI error, it was happening all night I have pairs of Crystal fragment attacks for the same damage (the one above was the most damaging and why I posted it).

✭you know, when I think about it again, all the damage description in the tooltips are quite "definitive". e.g., "634 damage", etc.
so what happens when two non-crit crystal shard actually hit you, it seems they should indeed have exactly same damage?

I understand that, but I did not see one single hit at all in PVP... unless people are just that lucky!

I could just be unlucky... I dont play a sorc so now I know it is part of the spell... I really need to find a way to counter it in PvP though because that one spell single handedly killed me in 90% of my deaths (with the other 10% being oils

But it might have a synergy with another skill line, like light armour, I can't find anything that will increase the odds, but there might be one.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

ShADoW0s✭✭✭Its a 35% chance of insta cast on any spell, so what the sorc is probably doing is Crystal Frags -> Cast another instant spell -> animation cancel -> Crystal Frags again. You need luck but its procs alot, BE can trigger it, healing can trigger it Daedric curse can trigger it, you have to watch for the glowing hands. Also you cannot increase the proc chance (to my knowledge), its fixed number.0 -
