Need help please (Imperial DK Build)

My char is an Imperial DK and I have been struggling lately with some Veteran content.
I have Heavy and Medium armor maxed, I have started to level light armor and is currently 27
I have Ardent Flame and Draconic Power Maxed, Earthen Heart is at 35.
Dual Wield is maxed, bow is at 30, Destruction Staff is at 39. (I used the same build for majority of the game, didn't realize how leveling worked until half way through).
Fighters guild and Mages guild are maxed out.
Imperial Skills maxed out.
I currently dumped all points but 5 into health, was running tank but apparently tanks have been de-purposed and I never get into groups. So i started switching into a DPS build but found very quickly I need advice doing so.
Before I respec my guy any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am more of a solo player.
I have searched for builds already but with recent patches I was not sure if any of the builds I found were viable, I would rather ask before I waste gold on a respec.
I think where I am screwed is that I chose Imperial Race...

I have very little experience with DK, but I'd make sure that you're balancing your bar between class abilities and weapon abilities. Don't only draw on stamina for damage.----

I mean that if your only damage dealing skills are stamina-based, you'll end up running out of stamina too quickly to be effective. You need to balance magicka and stamina on your bar.

Yeah i had them balanced, I came looking for current builds/advice. I want to keep my current build out of the picture as its not working for me, I want to know whats working for others...
