As the title says, has there been any work done to equalise the vast differences in armor skill lines and the complete uselessness of most weapon skill lines? I've been searching around the PTS notes etc. and i can't see that anything's been mentioned that they know or are going to fix it in the near future!
I'm bringing this topic up because i care about this game, as everyone knows it had alot of potential on release but now it's almost become known as Elder Staffs Online. Fights which are all balanced towards ranged users (many more mechanics to avoid for melee in trial and dungeon bosses), damage and recuperation of magicka skills in comparison to stamina skills are even out of sync. Then you have the fact that every single class skill costs magicka and you start to wonder what they were thinking when these lines were first created.
I know that they have alot of problems on their plate to deal with, but the vast majority of the game are at, or approaching end game now, and i won't lie... i don't enjoy playing a caster character, i don't enjoy wearing robes, but i do like putting out reliable damage. and at the moment that's unobtainable playing the way that i'd like to and i'm sure others would! (leather melee Damage dealer FYI

In my opinion, the option to only play one build by most classes to deal damage is what's alienating the largest number of players from this game, with Wildstar here, what's keeping these end game focused players paying? As i write this, i cannot even find one Trial group forming in the EU zone chat, and most of the "end game" zone is instead full of experience farming. (that's for another discussion some day)
I'm not trying to Flame or write an OMG QQ post, i feel that the points i've brought up in this topic are being thought by alot of players and have need rectifying for the good of the game and stop the slide it's on!
TL:DR - Is anything being done to change skill lines (not class lines) does anyone else agree that it's a pressing matter for the good of the game?
