The oddities of damage in this game - Is there a spreadsheet somewhere?

You shoot a venom arrow that takes stamina. The damage on the target is physical. The crit% is determined by spell crit.

This is just an example of my testing, so it makes things difficult when trying to come up with load outs. FTC's UI gives you blue numbers for spell damage, and yellowish numbers for physical damage. This gives you a basis to see what type of damage you are doing.

The gray area arrives when you use the resto/destruction staff, and your light/heavy attacks are blue. This would mean the target is taking physical damage, but your crit% is based on spell crit?

Ambush - Uses magicka, deals physical damage, based on spell crit or based on weapon crit?

This is very confusing.

Is there any clarification anywhere on this complex system? Thanks.
