Glass half full or half empty?... WHO CARES

The glass half full of water analogy has always been a way to analyze a person's attitude. Instead, look at it this way: The glass is a person or organization. The water represents positive, the air negative.

Now, how do you remove the air from the glass? In my career I have asked this question many times to those I manage and heard some very creative answers, like first stabilizing the glass in order to create vacuum that would remove air but somehow not the water.

The simplest answer? FILL THE GLASS WITH WATER. Focussing on the positive and adding more to it will naturally push the negative out.

This rule also applies to people and organizations. If you can focus on the subject's strengths, focus on the positive, and constructively add to it, the negative will naturally be destroyed. If you focus on the negative, the situation will never improve and you even risk losing the positive that remains.

The same applies for this game and these forums. How will YOU remove the air from the glass?

Unfortunately, you're dealing with human beings, and there will always be people who will refuse to stop focusing on the negative. There will always be people complaining about ESO, especially on the forums. Of course it's just a very vocal minority here, most people DO see the positive.

I think the complaints are fair. I have played other games and seen the forums full of moaners and wondered why so much dislike.

I don't wonder about it with ESO.

Ummm... Maybe it went over people's head or they read the original post like they read in-game lore books.

WATER is in the glass and the water represents POSITIVE things. The game has many positive things.

I'm a glass half full person, but most people arent. Have you seen what is on TV and in the news now?

The News media would rather report on murders, crimes, conspiracies, etc...the negatives of society, as opposed to the positives. It drives ratings. So that is what the masses want to see and talk about. It's kind of sad. I dont even watch the news anymore.

Yea.. It is sad that positive articles are so outnumbered by the "more interesting" news we currently see locally a well.

Yes. It is much like the tale of two wolves living in the heart of every person...

A dark gray wolf that represents negativity, hate, destruction and hostility.

A white wolf that represents love, integrity, productivity and happiness.

The wolves are constantly fighting over the heart, mind and soul of that person. Which one will win? Whichever one you feed.

Personally I do not mind the negative posts on here oddly enough. I usually get a good laugh or two while at work..
