Cradlecrush Arena Templar suggestions/help requested

I'm a Templar and sitting at the Cradlecrush Arena roadblock to check off that part of Cadwell's Almanac. I've died numerous times, placed skill points on new attack skills, changed up strategy and bar, weapon swapped, but still not getting by the 3 guys and 2 tigers.
I use Resto Staff and 2H Weapon skills. Suggestions?
