Give it time, the Gloomers will soon wake up and start their daily terrorizing of this forums with their incessant 'problems'; having to see even one bot while playing be certainly one of them.

Speaking of bots, I been playing two months, have 3 characters to level 30 and I can't say I seen one, but if I did I wouldn't even recognize it. If I see someone camping a spot, I don't even pay attention, I am passing through any way.

might be the area im in but i havent seen any bots for ages. even porting back to starter zone to hit the harborage, usually camped by node bots and leveling bots. nary a one.

Bots have been few even in the early zones. Now they have to fix the rest of the game.

I've noticed bots hiding in phased areas, places where any player who has finished the quest line for that location will enter a different phase where the mobs are no longer hostile, but the bots stay in the original phase farming and just become invisible to players in the other phase.

Same here. Why would there not be bots in a MMO? That is like asuming things fall away from the planet instead of towards it.

The thing is that they only appear outside of the main hours of the server. On the EU sever I had to stay up till 1 A.M. german time before I even saw the bot-groups farming the dugneon bosses everyone was talking about (not that viable farming way anymore due to loot lockout).

In the last 2-3 weeks the only time I saw a bot was when somebody told of them in /zone and I went looking for them.
When you are doign wierd stuff (like palying from 1 A.M. too 11 A.M. european time on the EU server), then I can understand you seeing a lot more bots/goldspam. But then again it is your choice to use that server at such a late hour.

I've seen a couple in the last week, but the issue is all but gone. I started a new character on EP and have to say it has been a much better experience than when leveled my alt. The issues with grouping seem to still be there. It seems that no-one want's to group.

Much less bots and much less bugs. There is still room for improvement but it's time they looked at VR zones. An overhaul is needed imo.

There are still plenty of bots and gold sellers, but I have become so weary of the issue that I just try to quietly play around it. Bot trains clearing the mobs in an area I am trying to quest in? Report one train, then log to an alt...or log out and try again at a later time. Unable to harvest nodes? Log to an alt or log out. It's tedious, but less so than endlessly reporting for no perceived gain.

I see fewer gold sellers and bots lately as well. I don't know what Zenimax did, but it worked. Not saying bots are gone, but they are no longer such an annoyance as they were.

Although I do sometimes see a group of zerg size in Cyrodiil move as one within a few meters from each other moving rapidly from left to right, forward and backward without any of them ever leaving that tight few meters radius. They are either bots or extremely submissive followers doing the exact thing the boss says the exact moment he does.

Please note the few meters part of this comment since there are very good groups that work together at awesome precision, but they never move as fast and switching directions so fast without anyone leaving that small radius. Those groups not only scare me, but I tip my hat to their skills.

Also that they seem to be bots, not saying they are.

There are fewer bots. I never see any at all on my VR12 main, other than the daily half-dozen in-game mails. On my level 3 and 11 alts, I almost never see any. More interesting, I find a fair number of resource nodes on the newbie island and initial zones.

The botswarm that plagued launch may not be altogether gone, but it's a lot less noticeable.

I think bots are in the starting areas only and people who play there are mostly newcomers and they think it's just a part of the game.

People have pretty much given up on complaining about them, Zos doesn't reply, and on this issue they should. So the threads get started, people post, the mods remove any names, and we get no feedback, at all.

We understand they are trying to get rid of the bots, and don't want to give their hand away before they do anything. But a comment about how they are doing something and appreciate the interest, would help.

There are fewer bots overall in all zones, and the ones that do remain have gotten a lot smarter and more discreet.

I've actually seen more players hacking the game than actual bots in the past week or 10 days.

I don't know what Zenimax did, but KUDOS TO YOU FOLKS! It was an absolutely necessary thing to get under control, and I think you did. It will never go away completely, but keep up the good work.

Think the bots moved to wildstar. Just got a mail in Wildstar from the same most well known gold sell site that littered the mail systems in ESO.

On a serious note, I think the playerbase realizes that there are bigger, more immediate problems with ESO than bots. And that would not be a "positive note."

You know, people leave or are at the fringe of leaving and dont care.

Also with the obvious direction the game is taking, there are probably too few goldbuyers, the best way to stop bots soon.
Maybe thats the secret plan, drive away all players, that would show the RMT companies.

not seen a flying/speed bot for over a week now just a couple of bots pathing round the roost in AD where before the craglorn patch they outnumbered real players 3 to 1.
