did your guild get some new members? after about a week on no spam, i found one in the mail yesterday. I always assume this is someone with fast report, or is in one of my trade guilds

Nope I am in one very small vamp guild and no new members have joined. My gold spam stopped after I left a larger PVE/PVP guild until yesterday afternoon. I asked a question in /zone yesterday so I guess that is how they got me...ugh...

OOOOH, makes sense, i'm in the VR areas, but not craglorn,so it's kind of dead there in zone. but i'm never really active in zone chat anyway guess thats why my normal used to be one per day, but it didn't matter cuz i just tossed it while going through mat deliveries, spam mail doesn't affect me very much

I got hit with the new wave as well. Same fonts/colors/words as the previous mass attacker. I'm betting it is the same people. Hopefully ZOS learned how to deal with it from the previous battle. The spammers planned this attack on a weekend though. Means we will have to just report/block until next week.

Yeah just irritating. I never chat in zone or general but I had a question about some passives and this is what I get for asking a question. :)

Is there any way to add people that mail me this mess to an ignore list?

Noticed that yesterday as well. Different from the ones we used to get. Maybe the Borg have adapted ;)

Four out of six of mine are from the same website. The other two are from another site. If you hover over their "@names" on the email they are like afafafde, eidkehdj, etc just like the little bots. Just wish there was a block or ignore option on mail.

If there is any way I can block the users can someone let me know?

I have had a nice break from the usual waves of mail spam, until yesterday. One after another all advertising the same two web sites. Reported one for each site and just started hitting delete...all you can really do.

I usually threaten to report them to homeland security.

/ignore doesn't seem to work unless they have already banned the ones I turned in this morning. Didn't see them on my ignore list. Oh well on to getting smacked down by those that lurk in the dungeons. :)

they probably were banned, and they are not safe in dungeons either, last dungeon i saw botters in some people only looked like botters but the ones that were eventually falling down dead, for no reason, that was a bot, won't be seeing them again

I get like one per day, reporting them takes too much time.

@Seravi‌ you have to do it manually. Write down the name you see when you hover over the @name. Open your contacts and go to your ignore list. You can see add player at the bottom. You have to add the account name, either because it only works with accounts, or because the character used to mail you has already been deleted. Make sure to type the name exactly.

A pain I know. It's easy to report the mail, but not to ignore the player sending the mail. Although you will rarely get spam from the same account even though the message is usually exactly the same. For a while I was seeing 1-3 spam every day. Then for weeks nothing. Then last night I got two.

I had a nice quiet week with no goldseller spam then yesterday I got 5 or 6,.

Zenimax do work through and ban them eventually (if you report them and leave the mail in your inbox when they ban them the mail disappears) but its an uphill struggle it seems.
