ESO Wish List/Ways of Improvement

sshawboys1_ESO
First of I must say that I am enjoying this game. However, it seems to be lacking some important aspects and features to make it great.

This thread is intended for people to post things they hope to see in future updates/patches. Maybe, just maybe, the developers will see this and implements some of the requests. We are the customers so what we want is important.

I have been in the game development business for 4 years myself and I'm just suggesting things I feel would improve this game.

Here's some things I would like to see, I will most likely add more later:

* PVP should be be split between non-veterans and veteran players (Levels 1-49 on one and veteran 1-12 on another) Veterans and non-vererans will simply be put in different PVP wars according to their home/server. This eliminates lower level players from getting destroyed by veteran players (who have hardly any caps and are significantly) and also giving lower level players more incentive to play PVP. As of right now it's like 95% veterans.

* Improve the reward system so that you have multiple choices when selecting your reward for completing a quest (Light, Medium, and Heavy for Armor) (1 Handed, 2 Handed, Staffs, and Bows for Weapons) (Accessories don't need to have choices).

* Make the item reward you will be getting from the quest visible before you accept the quest, also after, this will give players more incentive to complete and finish the quest (Especially when they have the choice to choose an item and they won't end up getting a Staff when they use a 2 Handed weapon).

* Add weapons effects to the weapons, like when they are first unsheathed, this effect is small but would be a nice addition.

* Item sets, at low levels, serve almost no purpose because it is extremely unlikely that a player will find all the pieces before the gear is obsolete. Instead, reward players will some set items for doing more complicated quests such as the guild quests and the main story line quests.

* Add player's class to where it shows their health/level it would be nice to know what class a player is.

* Improve the grouping tools. It's tough to find players to quest will and a search system that looks for players of similar level would greatly improve this. I know the idea is to not dampen solo play but this is an MMO. If people want to search for groups to quest with, give them the option. People who like soloing won't use it.

* To improve the dungeon finder allow players to replay dungeons and get rewards/experience for redoing a dungeon. As of right now you only get xp for completing the quests within the dungeon, and a little for the bosses. This is why it is nearly impossible to find other people to play with. I would never replay a dungeon because I don't get anything for it. I'm sure this goes for every other player who plays the dungeons also.

* Improve the FPS weapons. The position of the FPS weapons are awkward and unrealistic. Use Skyrim as a reference.

* Add HD weapons to FPS/better modeled weapons, similar to Skyrim or even Oblivion.

* Improve FPS weapon animations.

* Fix the FPS camera. As of right now the FPS camera is not practical for combat. The field of view is too low so everything seems zoomed in. You are loosing some vision due to this making it very difficult to use FPS for anything other than exploring.

* Fix the PVP lag, it is horrible. I often die because of it and it tends to happen when in large groups.

* Mages are ridiculously OP especially their AOE's their attacks need nerfing.

* Fix not being able to view maps, inventory, player list, ect while using the trebuchet. It is really annoying when I have to stow my siege weapon in order to do so.

* Fix the map UI Bar. It often gets stuck and it's hard to quest when you have no on screen map.

    - Being able to toggle on/off each piece of armor, not just the helmet.
    - Being able to sacrifice my current armor in order to create a custom-made costume that will look like that gear, but have no stats and take up only one inventory slot. Lets us build new costumes, basically.
    - Able to have a sound queue when someone talks in chat as well as a more pronounced blink.
    - Being able to customize the colors of my armor (obviously being worked on by ZOS already).
    - Being able to research drop set traits, not only through a time requirement, but also through a repetition grind (i.e. break down 10 items with a looted trait, and you learn that trait for that item).
    - Being able to see group and guild members in zone, no matter if they are in another phase (also being worked on already, at least for group members).
    - Being able to have cloaks, half cloaks and full shoulder cloaks.
    - Light armor chest that doesn't look like a dress.
    - Guild Emblems, Tabbards, and even guild uniforms (ala STO).
    - Being able to float a guild name by your name instead of a title.
    - A special power to teleport to group leaders in Cyrodiil, to help lower travel time. Possibly in the support skill line.
    - The ability to change between your player bank and the guild bank without having to exit the dialogue and reenter.
    - The ability to change guild banks without having to go to the withdraw screen.
    - The ability for guilds to add new ranks.
    - The ability for guild banks to be able to store guild.
    - The ability for guilds to limit bank draw amounts per day by rank (item limit or gold limit).
    - The ability that group leaders accept and finish quests for the group, and choose all options.
    - The ability to repeat quests as long as the player accepting the quest is the group lead (obviously, for no item/skillpoint reward).
    - The ability for group members to travel along on all storyline missions, including into Coldharbor.
    - The ability to write a character bio.
    - The ability to inspect other players, see their gear, guild associations, and read their character bio's.
Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

    XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    * Lower the difficulty of Veteran mobs, or add a difficulty setting, so Templars (And other non OP classes) can solo normal Veteran quest content and play the build they want.
    * Add Player housing
    * Add Followers like in Skyrim
    * Add Questline titles, like "The King's Arrow" or "Hand of Almalexia" Almost everyone now are Fighter's Guild Victor or Master Wizard which is boring.
    * Add religious preferences so your character can follow an deity and receive bonuses for doing so

Yeah i agree,Eso lacks many things which other mmos have. for one,i am missing the cuztomisation that other MMOs have,Eso almost have no depth at all in cuztomisation,From character to mounts,MMOs needs those kind of stuff,Its one of the big things i enjoy out of MMOs. The cuztomisation,Mounts,Pets,More unique armors.. etc. I also which there were things that would bring the community together,There isnt really anything atm which brings the community together.

Its just questing and pvping. Nothing more. Where are the events? Holiodays? Mounts who are not dull? the variety?

I wish ZoS adds these things,Also Duels,Better Nameplates,Chatbubbles,More social stuff overall.

I agree, these would all make nice additions to ESO. Let's just hope the Dev Team sees this and can implement everything.

The more people that post the better chance we have!
