NA Campaign Status - Check in here with an update on your campaign PvP ESO Alliance War

Starting a thread to keep track of what is going on in each campaign in North American Campaigns.

Please respond with your campaign status and I'll update the original post.

Tally: (1 for dominating, .5 if shared with one other, 0 if 3 way balance)
AD: 4.5
DC: 1
EP: 3.5

So, I think ZOS better be careful if they reduce the number of campaigns as AD could end up dominating the game.

Auriel's Bow - All AD
AB is also AD dominated but there is at least some resistance (mostly DC) and some fights to be had.

Auriel's Bow NA: AD dominated. If a single EP or DC shows up and tries to take anything, dozens if not hundreds of AD log in and zerg them until they give up and leave :P

NA AB is completely dominated by AD, the second you mount any resistance (even if your faction is at 1 bar) they immediately lock pop and zerg you down. The EP and DC still keep at it and theirs a minor, hopeless resistance.

Bloodthorn Mostly DC
Bloodthorn - usually dominated by DC. On the evenings during prime-time, EP and AD do make a showing. Sometimes an emperor group will guest for AD and just take over the map.

Chrysamere Mostly EP
Chrysamere NA-Mostly EP dominated, big DC presence, very little to none AD.

Celares Potentially balanced between EP and AD
for the most part a fun campaign with small to medium scale action to be found at varying times of the day

ignore the trolling in zone about letting EP take all the inner keeps so that AD can turn right back around and retake them for the emperor farming exploit (you'll hear "we have an arrangement with EP - don't mess it up" etc) and you can have a fun time if you want a change/break from the hectic and fun pace in wabbajack

DC could use some help there for sure

Dawnbreaker All AD
Dawnbreaker is an AD dominated ghost town for the last week. There *has* been DC action once upon a time but no longer (June 10)

Goldbrand All EP
Dominated by EP
AD and DC do fight back a bit

Hopesfire All AD
Just guested into here (June 6) and it was all AD.

Skull Crusher All AD
Dominated by AD
EP and DC rarely take keeps

Volundrung All DC

DC holds the map, emperor and all scrolls as well as the lead, AD Is second in place and EP is last according to campaign score.

Wabbajack Balanced
Wabbajack NA: almost perfectly balanced. No faction holds the upper hand for more the a few hours before the other 2 gang up and bring them down. Populations are always even.

EDIT: Seems like I spoke to soon. EP decided to take over the campaign tonight and get someone emperor. With Wabbajack being locked during prime time, the rest of us get to suffer these horrible imbalances. Campaign changes can't come soon enough.

AD clearly doesn't give a damn about that campaign, they just want the Emp and Scroll bonuses for their Guest servers and PvE.

I'm the leading player on Goldbrand. AD and DC do fight back on Goldbrand every day and take several keeps, but we're typically too outnumbered to do much. Due to differences in schedules, the map pretty much stays red. DC go to bed early, only a few AD stay up late, and EP has an Australian guild who takes keeps when nobody else is online and other guilds they can call in during the day if any of us actually get enough people on to threaten their keeps. All the campaign really needs is more active AD and DC players. We do have great fights there every day. It's a fun campaign if you don't care that EP has dominated for pretty much the entire campaign and the other alliances have no hope of winning. If you play to play, it's plenty of fun. Just don't expect to win.

Chrysamere: a small campaign with good 15 vs 15 battles..oh and the occasional AD that shows up. Map gets traded around quite a bit. EP likes to nightcap since they are West coast, DC gets to rage at all the night caps since they are east coast.

Yes you heard me. The battles are small enough to be an Arathi Basin WoW match. and there's usually one 1 battle at a time

    EP owns this campaign.
Usually allows AD and DC to keep their first 3 keeps out of courtesy. Some exceptions apply!

DC are the main opposition, and can even get a higher pop that EP, and almost daily they make a rush attempt at emperor, and fail most of the time.
They are attempting to emp swap, so when one gets emperor, they then home transfer to let the next in line get it.

AD quite a small population, they do get on and hassle a little bit, usually nothing to serious, often whether its planned or not end up directly assisting DC, also known for having a crack and getting scrolls back!

I can confirm Goldbrand is domined by EP but only due to the imbalance of numbers. One decent 12-20 man DC guild joining this server would balance the DC/EP situation. AD would need at least 2 decent 15-20 man guilds to join to give them a chance. They do as best as they can with the numbers they have.

I love how you try and paint your guys as honorable or something. First of all the only times DC has had numbers that were greater than EP is when people guested to us and we destroyed your side and capped an emp. Any other times you all will lose fight after fight to lower numbers until you have so many players on your side that there is no longer any chance for DC to win. This is mainly due to the AoE cap.

Hell yesterday 4.... let that sink in. 4 of us wiped your best team in a keep defense situation 9 times. Your numbers were 12 at the start and over 25 at the last attempt. When we finally got more numbers you all finally gave up and ran off to turtle in a keep so that we had deal with your superior numbers and guards. Not a single merc was used in this defense.

Lets face it you cant handle even fights so you will always call in more help until we can't push your keeps any more. Its happened every night for two weeks since your zerg guild joined.

Another one of you claiming honor or something that is amusing. You call in more numbers as soon as you lose a single piece of property. We wipe you once and your numbers double. I swear your like gremlins every time we wipe you , your team doubles in numbers over and over again until there are just to many to deal with.

FYI you've never seen our best team and we fall forward and backward to keep you encouraged so we can farm dem lovely AP's)
A.) I'd love to see your best team then because it would be really cool to have a fight based on skill instead of numbers.
B.) You've never farmed us, although I can certainly believe you farmed others for a short amount of time before they got bored and logged.

GB is built on several things that I think everyone who is honest will wholly admit:
1.) EP has a complete stranglehold on Emperor due to vastly superior numbers and the oceanic night crew who counter cap ANY progress made during normal NA hours. Over night, every keep in Cyrodil is painted red for absolutely no reason other than to troll.
2.) AD has the least amount of people right now, but they’ve been doing their best to mount a comeback. They pretty much vanished off the server, but have really made an effort to resurface in the last week.
3.) DC is made up of three main groups: Crows, GA and x13. Crows have been here the entire time, but are not necessarily committed to running every night. GA has been here 1.5 months and while we run the most hardcore, we are always fighting uphill against bigger groups. X13 is easily the closest we have to a “zerg” guild who could attempt to fight one of the large EP groups, but they have the most casual and inexperienced players. They do also have some cool/skilled players, so they are able to hold their own on certain nights, but other nights they struggle.

A typical night sees x13 spend a couple hours capping Warden & Glademist while Crows run small assault forces and GA pushes emp keeps and open field fights. (One night a week x13 tends to have enough to make a serious dent in Emp capping and that night is certainly appreciated.) Some progress is made, and some fun fights are had from our point of view as we typically go up against Jean Luc’s group. Eventually, too much progress is made once x13 moves beyond the closest keeps and EP (not wanting to lose PvE buffs I’m assuming?) flood Cyrodil and the night is a wash save the memories of some solid battles. On the rare occasion that DC does cap an Emp, yes, that person will transfer off once dethroned. Unlike Dcooldoc who is perpetually crowned by EP (and despite the fact that there’s a lot of rancor among our players), DC on GB is all about everyone having their shot at the brass ring of Emperor.

While I am not excited about the Campaign changes, GB has been ruined by the influx of EP so I think everyone is looking forward to a fresh start.

People would have so much more fun if they just went onto 1 server instead of just taking keeps without a fight like AB/Bloodthorn ect...

Should blame mainly the players though it's also Zenimax's fault for creating too many servers.

Hopefully all be fixed when they do the new servers but I think even 5 servers seems to many. 3 sounds perfect.

I think where the problem is...is this. A large portion of gamers don't want to PvP until they are VR10...or VR12.

So, their plan is to just pick a campaign where they get maximum PvE bonuses.

So 3 campaigns, IMO, would result in 3 very unbalance Cyrodiils...where the "fair weather" gamers just go to their sides winning server.

I like the setup now. It ensure all the fair-weather gamers get their campaign to dominate. And a server like Wabbajack exists for those who want to PvP a lot.

AB is also AD dominated but there is at least some resistance (mostly DC) and some fights to be had.

Wabba is probably the most 'alive' campaign, and the most likely for good fights. It is primarily EP dominated but AD and DC have their moments. AD is the underdog by far, however.
