Here's a new one..last night I had some network issues where I couldn't connect to the game through the launcher. I fiddled with some windows network settings with no change. I was getting the 210 error so I restarted my router/modem. I ran antivirus/malware bytes with no viruses, but a few malware which I deleted.
After a final reboot, I tried to run ESO and it now starts in VGA mode and won't get out of it. I went into the game settings and it's still set for fullscreen and 1920x1080 resolution.
I have reinstalled Firefox as well as my graphics driver. The network issue seems to have been solved somewhere along the line, but now the game is unplayable.
Can/should I reinstall the game launcher or the whole game? I'm at a loss here...
btw, I was playing the game without any issues up to this point. Also, my wife was playing last night right next to me so I know it's something on my machine.

✭✭I had the same issue. I just had to close the game and restart the client and the issue was resolved0 -
Rhime✭✭Uh, yea..if only it was that easy. I had to copy a shortcut from inside my ESO folder to my desktop to start the game normally. This seems to have fixed it..0
