The end game vision is to continually add more PVE extensions and increased level caps?

I guess that is appealing to many players and from the looks of the last update and the plans for the next major update the plan is to just keep adding extensions to the PVE endgame?

I guess I was hoping for a more DAOC archetype where I could finish the PVE aspect (at least for awhile) and move into the PVP content with the focus of the game to get players involved in it....rather it just seems they are just continually adding PVE content and increasing level caps?

I would have thought the majority of players wouldn't have hit level cap yet and they are ready to increase it again? Its summertime now and my game time is decreasing at a constant rate as it is...i've been sitting at VR7 for awhile now and other than logging on for a few minutes here and there I have all but lost interest in leveling anymore with no solid end in sight.

I know the game has appeal to some people, i'm just a bit surprised that the content being focused on with the major updates is what the majority of people want...for now i've cancelled as the current direction of the game doesn't have much appeal for me...but I wish everyone the best experience...sorry if this was too much of a rant.

How does providing PvE endgame in addition to PvP hamper your game in any way? What a childish response to the content update.

Sorry to bother you with this but I must have missed the thread/source of your statement. Where would I find those explanations from ZOS?

Because the VR maxxed players over-power anyone else. If the level cap keeps getting raised it means a lot of people never get there and so can never properly enjoy PvP on a vaguely level playing field.

Ah - I see who i'm replying to. That's wasted breath I'm never getting back.Oh well.

Because your forced to Stop PVPing and do PVE to maintain the same playing level as the others. If PVP leveld you as fast as PVE it would be fine but its no where close.

The answer isn't to stop increasing Level Caps by adding PvE content, but to address issues with PvP.

Personally, I am not into PvP, at any level, but I have played in Cyrodiil and I think that evening out the playing field should be something that is addressed.

Either gate the instances so that you are playing against others within 10 levels of yourself (which will cause the rise of twinks), or open up all skills to all players in PvP.

Personally, I prefer an Open/Free set up.

    1. All combat skills for your chosen class are available when you zone in.
    2. Your PvP set up is saved and separate from PvE. Once you create the set up, it is automatically applied when you zone into Cyrodill. (armor, weapons, skill bars, etc.)
    3. Remove all PvE elements from PvP zones. (Skyshards, lorebooks, etc.)
    4. PvP Quests should all focus entirely upon advancing your Alliances position. Stealing resources, capping resource areas (mines, farms, lakes, forrests, etc.)
    5. Short time mini campaigns. 15 - 30 mini pvp campaigns to capture and hold strategic locations for experience gains and overall campaign points.

I would much prefer a 20-30 minute campaign where all 3 sides start out at 3 different points on a triangle shaped map where you have to try to take and keep a middle keep from the other sides.

Sounds too much like a Battlefield match for my tastes...

And what do the rest of the community, that prefer PvE and don't PvP, do while we wait months for additional content because the PvPers don't want it?

I'm sure we just go and cheer them on at the arena that so many of them appear to want...

And thus the problem with a PvE and PvP game combined into 1. What is good for one side is generally bad for the other.

I would prefer the level cap stay put for at least 6 months preferably 12, but going up every 4 to 6 weeks is excessive for PvPers. Honestly it's excessive for PvE as well as it will make it harder to pull in new customers if they feel they will never reach end game.
