Are VR Zones meant to Group Orientated? (Not Craglorn)

I only ask because there is usually some side quests that I just can't solo. For the most part I can solo a lot of them and probably die a few times trying. All my gear is up to my current VR level.

Must I use the Destruction/Restoration staff meta to even make these quests doable? Do I really have to ditch my dual daggers because of this crap?

I'm having a ton of success on my bowman\2h user. Solo everything that's meant to be soloed with no trouble.

However, it is worth noting that melee styles are indeed lacking in Vet content. If you wish to melee, make sure you have some form of AoE CC slotted to divide ranks and to not get hit by several enemies at once. Volcanic Rune (Mages Guild skill) will do.

Skills like DW Heated Blade that reduce enemy weapon accuracy are a very big help against single powerful CC immune enemies.

My Sorcerer character has some trouble sometimes in the veteran zones, especially with mobs of 3 or more. Usually I put most of my CC spells in my bar to just keep the mobs away from me as I try to pick them off one by one. I try to avoid AoE spells because sometimes the mobs are grouped so close that my spells can hit another mob and draw in 3 more.

Problem I run into is I am light armored and squishy. It seems to be better now that I put more in health, well pretty much all my attributes are health now but still sometimes I seem to die oddly quick. I don't think I'm a bad player and yes I do dodge and block and all that and usually at the right time but fire seems to do a crazy amount of damage to me and I am not a vampire. I mean heck I soloed a world boss or two in the Vet. zones so... I can't be horrible lol.

Usually I can sneak around mobs to finish a quest, that's kind of key but yeah I also find myself running around doing dolmens, world bosses and dungeons and skipping quests that aren't Cadwell's most of the time. I seem to do fine in solo dungeons cause the mobs are usually only 2 people and I can do that just fine and usually without much of a problem... not sure what happens when you hit 3 or more.

In VR5+ you will suck ass hard without a group, even if you were able to solo world bosses in vr2. That is on purpose and I do not like it.
