So at the announcement of the console delay, I read that if I have an account by the end of June, I could add a console digital version to my account at the cost of ~5$ and that I would also pay the 15$ for a month of gameplay. So for 20 bucks, I would have another month of gameplay, and my character be playable on console. So I went out and bought the Imperial edition.
I have my account from early access, but I have not added my game key. I was hoping there would be some fixes before I added my game key, but it looks like that isn't going to happen. So now I am going to question if its worth activating on June 30th, or just try and sell my copy to someone else for 60$, then come back during the console era.
Right now I am enjoying Wildstar, so I am not in a hurry to activate it, but to be part of the crowd that gets the console version for 20$, I HAVE to activate it before the end of June.
I am holding out, hoping they will maybe push the time frame back.
I really want to play, but I also really want to play a game that was hyped up, not what it currently is. I am sure it will get there. I am wondering if it will be like Diablo 3. Lot of people hated the game on PC, then a year later, it was released on Console. Bit of redesign of things and it was a big hit. I wonder if they decided to push the date back to redesign some major flaws.
