Is your opinion greater than anyone elses?

Some of you speak as if the things you are saying are "objectively" true such that anyone who disagrees with you is not only stupid, but should be moderated, censored, and removed from all discussion.

Say we all cast votes on what we think should happen with PVP. Does any one of those votes in itself have greater weight than another? If so, who decides this? The person casting that single vote?

Forgive me for not completing the quote. If I had, I don't think the post would stand. And that's just my point, eh? Some people think that their opinion is law and anyone who goes against it should be censored.

If someone wants to have a smaller scale PVP as an option for fun, please do not try and shut them up just because you do not. How would you like it if someone stopped you from having a say?

Everyone should have the right to put their opinions foward , with that said , people dont need to agree with it.

I dont really check much the threads about smaller scale PvP , but , in my opinion , this is a bad idea.

The more kinds of PvP and PvE they add , the more the game needs to be balanced to accommodate that. The kind of balance we need right now , might and probably , wont be the same we will need if we had arenas for example.

Considering how poorly balanced this game already is , adding arenas would be a bad call.

At what point does free speech become nagging?

The game mechanics are not designed for duelling, arena or any of the other forms of small scale PvP.
At some time in the future, such things might be added but right now, and in this game, we have more pressing concerns.

Now, please, please - I'm asking you nicely - will you shut up about it?

Why yes. Yes it is. My opinion > everyone else's opinion. Especially when it comes to something like adding arena to this game.
