I love it except for how hard it is to get people to the World Bosses and Dolmens.

Maybe I am just lucky, maybe it's because most level up just as slow as I do, but on all my alts I see people running around everywhere and since I don't have a schedule to live by I play different times each day. The only place I see this issue is Cyrodiil where it is only really active around US evenings.

Yeah, not seeing this as a problem. I usually end up logging off early evenings since there are FAR too many people.

This game is great when all the other people aren't ruining your experience.

This game is not "BRIMMING with people". You are seeing the effects of the megaserver tech which dumps random players into a common instance until that instance is full. Then it starts another one. Basically, an automated Lobby system that the player has no control over.

A quick survey of guild leaders will actually show that ESO is dying. People are no longer playing the game in significant numbers. Guild leaders can see this because the guild membership is account bound, and it registers the players as online even if they are playing an alt in other factions and/or on other guilds. So when players go off-game for a month or more, they are not playing at all.

No... I am seeing people in towns, on the roads, in the forests, on the beaches, everywhere. I am very familiar with dungeon instances and how the server moves folks in and out of these dungeons. People are waiting outside of instances, and in most cases... they need only wait under a few minutes to get a group going... or just jump into the instance with enough folks to work a dungeon.

So, I am not agreeing with your statement. Players can control where they go. Perhaps you are in the 'aged population' that rushed to end game and now find yourself without companions to play with... since the majority of the server population seems to be enjoying the journey to end game and have not yet reached vet status.

I don't know how you can do a 'quick survey of guild leaders' when there is no mechanism in game to allow you to perform such a feat. Do you know of a special "add on" that allows you to sort through thousands of players, identify them as guild leaders, solicit them to vote on a topic, tally and calculate the votes, and then relay that information to a database that can be queried by anyone to display? If you do... point me to that application, please.

Players go offline in any game, in any mmo and does not signify that a game is 'dying'. Online games always experience attrition, but they also enjoy new subscribers as well.

I haven't had a problem finding people yet. At level 28 in Greenshade there are always people to do Dolmen's and other things. At least so far. I'm in NA and I play after work between 8pm and 12am EST. Things are always jumping at this time of night.

I will agree that guild membership isn't likely a very good indicator of the entire playerbase. Most older guilds are likely populated with people that rushed to max level as quick as they could by-passing most of the content and never speaking once to an NPC they didn't need to for xp.

Yes, those people probably have left the game realizing there is nothing left for them.

However, there are many people like myself who continue to roll up new characters and take our time exploring the game and talking to every NPC we meet. I see no lack of players in the regular zones. Its the Veteran level stuff that people seem to have no stomach for.

One of my guilds is dead except for a handful of people. But my other guilds are still nearly full. I know the guild leaders do a lot of dumping inactive guildies and bringing in new ones. So it is not the exact same people as early access.

And I seem to find more help now that than at early game. I could never find anyone to do World Bosses or Dark Anchors with me in Glenumbra back in the early days. But now that I have reached Rivenspire and Alik'R Desert, World Bosses and Dark Anchors are swarming with players.

The VR zones above VR5 are dead (EU-Server). Hardly people to dolmens and in solo dungeons I'm alone most of the time (not always a bad thing). And I'm talking about peak times 18-20:00.

Maybe most of the players are in craglorn? Idk.

a lot of v1too v11are grinding in craglorn, right. i grinded from 10-12 and mostly had much lower ppl in my grp.

my guildmates (v4-8) stopped questing too for most of time
and do the storyq or 4-men dungeon grinding for faster exp because they re rarley find ppl to help for dolmen, wb, public dungeons or storybosses.

caglorn really sweeped out ppl from v-zones
