Drop-Rate - "Draugr's Heritage Set"

A few days ago, I got the chest piece from the "Draugr's Heritage Set" (VR2).

Since that day, I tried to get additional pieces from this set.
I checked various guild stores, I placed WTB orders in different VR zones.
The only thing I found, was another chest piece in another guild store.

Apart from this I found nothing and nobody responded on my WTB requests.

The above web site reports this item being dropped by anchors. So I did
many anchors in the last days, but no pieces from this set.

Pieces from other sets are dropping multiple times every day. So maybe
there is a bug in the loot table for this set.

Here is my question: has anybody found other parts from this set, apart
from the chest piece (VR2+) ?

If so, please drop me a note. I'd buy pants & gloves/shoulder pieces (VR2-4).

Location: Named Dark Anchor bosses

I take this to mean the 'Dread' mobs or possibly only Molag Bal's Generals and even then, the drops will be random so they are going to be very rare

I already read this notice. I'm asking myself, how they get this information. I think there is no "official" loot information - so probably this info is only a guess based on player information.
I got my current item from a chest that appears after doing anchors. I think I did at least 25 anchors during the last 3 days, but never saw another item from this set.

Still anchors are being done rather often. So you should expect some more items on the market.

I have the staff ( the lightning one) and I got it from the Zymel boss at a dolme. Yeah they are hard to get you would need to run a lot of dolmen to get a set full and for that the stats aren't even that great.

I know one guy told me that he camped the same dolmen for hours trying to get the Axe to drop. I have a few more images to add for this set. I'll post them when I get a minute.

I got a v10 Lightning Staff from a Dolmen in Riften and that's the only piece I've seen so far. There are none in any of my trade-guilds either.

I'm guessing they are pretty rare.

They are rare. Drop as much as the lich set

This set only drops from certain named generals. All generals can spawn at any Cyrodiil dolmen or spawn in specific zones throughout the world.

Ozzozachar (the titan)
- drops the armor pieces from this set
- can be found in last zone of each area (Bangkorai, Reaper's March, The Rift)

Anaxes & Medrike
- this pair can drop a two-handed mace or axe
- can be found in 4th zone of each area (Alik'r Desert, Malabal Tor, Eastmarch)

Nomeg Haga (frost atronarch)
- drops a staff for this set
- can be found in 4th zone of each area (Alik'r Desert, Malabal Tor, Eastmarch)

Zymel Hriz (storm atronarch)
- drops a staff for this set
- can be found in 4th zone of each area (Alik'r Desert, Malabal Tor, Eastmarch)

There is also a bow that drops for this set, but don't recall which general it comes from.

If you want this set at your current level, you will have to grind Cyrodiil dolmens for the bosses to show up, otherwise you can get them to spawn at the zones listed above. Good luck in your search!

Edit: Nvm, I just noticed that z_aromb is a level 70 necromancer. I guess I'll leave the info up anyway since I took the time to write it.

Those pieces, same as the Lich set, have a drop roll based on teh Generals that spawn on Dark Anchor events.
Usually, when the named boss is summoned (around 10% chance roll , calculated when dolmen spawns, 30% in cyrodiil), let's say it's The Seducer Sisters that spawn, you have a chance at then, in the chest at the end, finding a "Dylora's Staff", the staff from the lich set. If it's Zymel Hriz, teh storm atronach, you get a chance of getting the zymel staff', from the dreugh heritage set, and so on.
Also, cadwell's silver and gold dolmens can randomly spawn whatever general on whatever zone.


Basically, those pieces can sell really high at V16, due to the rarity of each piece, since it's a RNG roll out of other RNG roll.

I just wanted to throw this out there.

I have been farming dolmen's for almost 2 day's straight now. Probably over 200 plus. I have only gotten 1 piece of that set, the "Ice staff of Nomeg Haga".

I haven't even been farming for this set, i'm looking for "Shroud of the Lich" set piece's and a "Helmet of Anguish". Almost forgot "Volar's Crescent Dagger" as well (i got the staff).

I am very frustrated with the drop rate's and spawn rate's of these "General's". I'm a collector and i will not stop farm these piece's till i acquire them.

Zos really need's to bump up the incentive to do Dolmen's.

(For the record, i am using the 75 point passive for better drop's. Still no luck on all these piece's.)

Yeah I noticed the same thing after I offered my reply. I would say though that it could open up a discussion about the need for an overhaul to dolmens. Dolmens are one of the coolest things to be put in this game, but they are easily solo-able and there isn't much of an incentive to do them unless you are farming for the Lich or Draugr's sets.

ZOS should look into significantly increasing the difficulty of dolmens and increasing the loot table (new sets, maybe the chance for legendary resins, kutas, etc). I'd like to see dolmens become as epic as they were when you saw one for the first time.

Adding drops to IC would be the better way forward. Lich set from that patrolling Lich in the districts would be a good start

I'm looking for the Lich set too, all I've found are First Titan pauldrons, Zymel Hriz lightning staff, the Draugr's Heritage Maul, Hood of the Voidguide and the Abecan Pirate's Armour. I even had the Lich of Mournhold drop once, but he didn't drop anything

Noobs shouldn't be able to solo dolmens like they can now. Dolmens should be scaled to the difficulty of the Wrothgar world bosses and require 4+ people to do. This is a MMO after all.

I do like the second point that having sets that drop from all the world bosses would be fun. Most sets are either crafted, from dungeons or just random drops. I think there is a huge opportunity to incorporate new sets into world bosses throughout the game.
