I'm getting SWTOR forum flashbacks with that statement.

That was my game before GW2.

The stance of 3rd person camera First person shooter does not do the game justice in terms of people watching it on youtube. To get a feel for the tactics and scope of pvp most videos you see of other games are of long distance cameras from above as a group of players are moving strategically on the map.

With the close up 3rd person view, once does not get that same feel of troops strategically moving as one to flank an opponent and so forth.

Yep, remember all the rage-quitters (before TOR went F2P), most of whom publicly announced they were jumping to either GW2 or the new Diablo release.

I do not understand. Am i playing the same game as everyone else? Horrible lauch?! What?! For me this was the best launch of any mmo i have ever seen. Why? Because i was able to log on and stay on. I have played close to 300 hours and i have hit one bugged quest. Game is not perfect but for me I am loving it. If you actually take the time to listen to quest givers ane read the little journals and books within the quests you will see that the stories are amazing. My decisions matter. A npc asks me at the end of a quest if she stay and worship some god or go to a tavern and start drinking again. I tell him to go drink. Later, hours later i find him in his underwear outside of a tavern with too much to drink. It was hilarious.

No I am not a troll for liking the game.

I left MMO's due to their horrid combat systems containing hotkey heavy combinations of boring. Their horrid PVP capability. Their horrid storytelling. When I bought ESO I noticed all those things were improved.[Combat system allows me to block arrows! I don't have to worry about 1 million skills to hotkey! And the storytelling/voice acting=amazing]. The thing that keeps me here most is the large scale PVP. And if you all think it is dying. You weren't on Wabbajack yesterday. The sieges were amazing.

I have dealt with a total of around five bugs. A couple moments of PVP lag. But overall, not one thing I would consider game breaking. In fact, initially I thought I liked this game too much. Just based on how much people complain complain complain.

Then again, I am not a Nightblade [making one of those]. But based on a few Nightblades being able to efficiently gank me. I don't think they are as broken as people whine and cry about. So far, after a month and a half of play, I got a character to VR1. I like my character, like the game, and do not mind playing the other factions storyline. In fact, AD storyline has me intrigued.

So, perhaps once I get to VR12 I will complain a bit more? Add more QQ. Probably not. The PVP has insured I will remain attached to this game for a while.....

However. I have given one possible way for me to leave this game. That is if it goes F2P. Because of all the things I hate about MMO's, F2P games kills the community, kills the game, and just straight up sucks. So I only hope they keep the sub.

One thing I like though, is in game the community is pretty solid. I cannot say the same for the forums out of the game.

Yep, they are passionated MMO hoppers.

They hype a game, then they rage quit and talk bad about it in a different game and act like they all friends in their current game and then they do the same in the next game.

The pattern is called rotation of hypocrites ...

Imo someone in charge has no clue how to design a 2014 mmo.
This game is really good at its core, but there are lots of problems due to wrong decisions i can not in any way understand.
