Can't switch mounts in game.

I have 2 mounts in game, I messed up the feeding on my first noble stead so bought another to fix the feeding, at first I could switch mounts to feed them easily enough but now It won't let me.
The error message comes up saying "you need 2 inventory slots open" when I try to set my second mount as active, any fixes for this as I've been missing days of feeding him.

Seems that you have upgraded carrying capacity on your current horse to larger that your second horse has, and you have too much stuff with you to be able to switch horses.

Put 2 items from your inventory to your bank, sell 2 items to vendor or simply destroy 2 items from your inventory. Just free 2 slots (or what ever amount it is saying when you try to do the switch) somehow in your inventory and you should be able to switch horse.

What murmur said. You can't "unequip" a horse with carrying capacity if you have more items in inventory than just your character can hold -unless the new horse has carrying capacity as well.

Why didn't you follow the error message?
