Whats with this lag?

Anyone else having insane lag in game right now?

It's like the server is dropping packets its so bad, 3 secs of ok, 1 sec missing.

This morning right after the maint ended for the US server I was getting crazy insane lag spikes in coldharbour as were all the other people in the zone. Was def server side problems, not client side.

I've been getting some pretty jarring patches of spiking. As a matter of fact I've been having an array of odd nuisance issues recently.

Two biggest examples...

Bolt Escape runs the animation and resource cost but I don't actually move anywhere.

Friday into Saturday I stopped accumulating Ultimate. My counter was just remainined at partial value it froze at.

Numerous other key recognition problems. (ex. I'd lose mouse response until I brought up the inventory and reloaded it.

I got masive lags when i found teleporting bots harvesting nods. Bots made huge lag zone.

My comp can take skyrim on ultra but with eso on ultra it's 6-7 fps today not even kidding, I checked. On medium it's 15-16 fps. And this is when I'm not in combat and in Auridon (PvE 5-15 zone).

Got crazy lags 2 days ago. Eu server. I had no problems before in pve zones, even though I'm OSX user and it's always been much worse for us because of this 32 bit client. Pvp has been uplayable for a long time, now pve too. Changing settings to medium, low or even minimum doesn't help at all. Good job, dear developers.

What lag are you guys talking about? I get no lag... in pvp or pve. NA server here and campaign is Bloodthorn.

Up to 10 sec delays during combat, problems with weapon swapping etc. I know that not everyone has these problems, even in pvp, but I've seen enough people complaining in zone chat about it. Those who have no lags are just lucky, and it doesn't mean that problems do not exist. Especially for European players, since EU server is still physically located in USA.

Lag? oh you mean the lag they were supose to fix? but failed or are you talking about the new delay when first engaging in combat with npc's or are you just referring to their brilliant optimizations that made the game worse?

Same problem here, since craglorn I have an average latency of 600-700 ms in pve and pvp. Before this patch I did not have any problems. Customer Support is not reacting on my ticket after escalation 8 days ago. Even when I give them updates or ask them whether or not they are looking to my problem they do not react...

I have 60 days of game time left because I really liked the game after playing a few weeks and decided to buy game time in advance. I really regret that decision now... I hoped patch 1.1.3 fixed the things which patch 1.1.2 messed up, but it didn't. How much longer I have to wait till you fix the problems of many players? My patience is not limited and Wildstar is a reasonable alternative...

You know everytime some one says lag I'm like..."huh?" I dont't know what might cause it, but honestly have never gotten any game breaking lag, had one spiky afternoon and that is it, but people always are in chat goin "WHAT IS WITH THIS LAG. and again I go, what lag? honestly doesnt sound like a server side issue, because I 'm all fine. Now they could have made some changes that would require you to make some changes yourself, but this is normal for MMO's

Last night the lag on NA Celarus Cyrodiil was just unbearable. We were all freezing and hitting FPS drops for several seconds at a time such that we ended up having to split up our large group into separate smaller groups.

Ive tried the suggested solution for PVE - the program WTFast.
And it has solved all lag problems completely for me.

I've been playing this game since the September beta and this is the worse lag I have experienced.

I have been getting this server-side lag since Craglorn was released. And I get it anywhere, not just PvP areas.

Every night I die in combat situations due to casting bolt escape and NOT moving. 10 seconds later....WARP!!! This is in wabbalag. Die many times due to casting weapon swap and then 10 seconds later it swaps...ridiculous.
