Broken Rewards for the Worthy, keep the mail unopened until it's fixed or not?

As most, if not all of us, know the Rewards for the Worthy you get mailed to you for pvp actions are broken. This topic is not about the fact that they are broken, but the question whether or not they are worth keeping unopened until the fix comes. Or will the fix just make sure future rewards will be working again and not the unopened ones?
