I know the forums are a bit of a raging storm right now, but I just wanted to create this forum thread to say a big "Thank you" to ZOS.

I have yet to really see a gaming company work this hard to satisfy their customers. Think about it, they have done a BUNCH of hot fixes and mini patches since launch, that does actually show dedication. They could have just waited to put all the bug fixes in the Craglorn patch and not done any hotfixes at all, but instead, they did all the fixes they could when they could instead of waiting.

Also, I hope I am not the only one who enjoys veteran content, it allows me to see the other faction content without making a new character, which if I recall, was a big concern and was highly demanded by fans on the social media pages. Yes, you cannot faceroll through veteran content like you could in the 1-50 content for your alliance, I am pretty sure that is intended since Veteran content is meant to be a challenge to make you better because it makes you adapt.

Anyway, ZOS, you have one satisfied customer here, and I am sure there are plenty more. Keep on working hard!

I will be "satisfied" when I have 1-9 skill bar and can play as I like without being railroaded into certain playstyles because of diminishing returns on loot/exp.

    Within; Without.

Yeah they're so awesome because they can do what they should've done before launching the damn game... a month or two later after it's out. LOL!

Also, I do believe they have said that they plan on working on the classes that people are feeling are not playing up to par, so Templar and Nightblade. Also, I am pretty sure the hotfixes started on day 2.

Here here! We're enjoying Veteran content too. It's surprising how many folks aren't aware of what Veteran content really is, creating alts because they think that's the only way to enjoy the other Faction quests. When I see this within our Guild & tell them that it's not necessary to create an alt to experience those quests, they are generally pleasantly surprised.

I fancy myself as loyal to the Ebonheart Pact & will be damned if I'm going to create a character for the Covenant or Dominion. I'm glad we can experience it all on one character.
Catches-the-Sun - Argonian Templar - Master Smith, Provisioner, Chemist & Tailor
Valaren Arobone - Dunmer Flamewalker - Master Woodworker, Provisioner, Assassin
Kazahad - Khajiiti Arcane Archer - Master Thief
    V'orkten - Redguard Swordmaster
Finnvardr the Frenzied - Werewolf Berzerker

I wish that all these game's would stop trying to cater to the 24/7 players. They are only 1% of the total population yet seem to control what happens with the game.
IMO ZOS lost control of the game because of these issue's, but even though if you really have been playing the game, not rushing to be lvl VR50, the game plays wonderful and quite enjoyable.
So all in all great game for the majority of us.

Good for you, I hate the rehashed quests in VR content, it kills all interest for seeing new alliance and making alts. My opinion is that by doing that they killed their game longevity, which is a sad thing. I do like the increased difficulty though.

For the bug fixing etc. yes they reacted fast but that's normal, always many mini patches and fix and nerfs at a game release (I saw many since 1999). They came out super quick with 2 more VR levels, were they needed that quickly? I hope ESO will get better over time, but I already am looking at other games :(

I don't have a problem with recycling other content for VR. I do think the difficulty curve is far too high. People do actually play mostly solo in MMOs. Look at how many people go round VR areas solo. I don't accept that you shouldn't be playing normal VR quests solo. I've spent ages tuning my spec so that my NB can survive more than 2 minutes on VR7. I play to relax. I appreciate a challenge, but taking a deep breath before every single encounter and planning moves precisely to get through trash mobs of my own level. Feeling incredibly disheartened when I see a 3 pack in my path. Training for ages to get high level skills that mudcrabs shrug at. I really hope this isn't the vision that ZoS had for VR and don't allow their ears to be bent by a few user 1337 types.

Veteran content is hard, its meant to be the step up from 1-50 where you have to play and think smartly instead of rolling your face on your keyboard and winning. Boss mechanics matte,r NPC mechanics matter, everything matters.

I accept that it should be a step up, but this should be mitigated by the fact that you've learned some powerful skills. I don't expect to be able to use the same bar of skills I was using at 25 when I'm VR7 but the difficulty hike is just insane. In 1-50 you're actually getting more powerful at the time. It doesn't really matter that by the time you get to your 4th region there are 3 packs everywhere and they're so close it's easy to accidentally aggro another. In VR, you are getting relatively weaker each level and region design is not conducive with this. Invest in lowest risk build and approach every encounter ultra-catiously iously seems a bit fun-sapping to me.
