PVP XP! (What an improvment)

So I've been in PVP for a few days now at VR1 (Since Craglorn) and I honestly can't see any progress towards becoming level VR2. I've done the daily board missions, I've picked up and done a couple of random quests dotted around. I have defended and I have attacked the keeps. I have even delved into enemy territory to pick of stragglers.

I enjoy the PVP in ESO. But I don't feel like I am progressing. I can't put 8 hour shifts into gaming and there is no way I will EVER grind through VR quests. I was under the impression that PVP XP was being increased. Has it?

So how do I level? Am I missing something really obvious? For the first time tonight I quit ESO in favor of a movie, after only 2 months that is not a good sign.

The first night it was changed members of my PVP guild were reporting making almost 1million VEXP each that night.
How active was the combat for you and were you grouped to make sure you were getting rewards for the work of others in kills.

EXP is much better now. 2-3 hours of play and I can get 75Kills/8Deaths with some kills yielding 1K EXP each.

Combat is active enough, usually there is a battle or something going on somewhere. I have not been in a group much. I shout out LFG but rarely get an invite.

What do you mean getting rewards for others work?

You have to be grouped/raid group for you to get the exp/rewards/vp for others around you.

Join a pvp guild, you'll be happy if you pvp a lot.

Any EU PVP guilds looking for members? I don't have a microphone but I can listen.

Hey since I think your are being sincere, there is a section on the forums for it, if you want to find one. First one I joined was from the forums, second one I joined was looking in game.

Hope you can find a place and enjoy the PvP, I know I do.

I dunno why you cant just level in pvp at a rate that resembles questing if you want. I guess because they want you to see all the voice acting and stuff. That's cool on one character but it would be fun to have the option if you wanted it.

I'm still shocked that the Xp is based on groups... Being a loner is such a penalty in ESO. I never thought I'd ever say that about a TES game on line or not.

Over an hour asking for a guild in the most busy campaign on the EU server and not one reply.

I honestly think that the ESO community is by far the worse I have seen in any MMO I have played. It's almost as bad as WOW gets, only I have seen nothing of the good side WoW has.

Every time I asked if any PVP guilds were looking for members a small group of people thought it appropriate to just type 'Monkey' over and over again.

@Tannakaobi as others have said the issue is indeed that you were not grouped and thus missing a lot of the rewards.

If you EU Ebbonheart Pact I can see about getting you an invitation to the PVP guild I am with (we are a main focus PVP guild, my user ID is Turelus as well) otherwise I can only say do as the others said and look for a guild via the forums or just keep trying to group up, or better yet form you own groups and invite others stuck without one.

    @Turelus

That would be great. I don't have an Ebbonheart Pact character, but I will make one. I can level pretty quickly through 1-50 and there is a very good chance that any character that I can use in PVP will become my main anyway.

Thanks and I'll PM you my name when I have one.

PvP xp is still embarrassingly slow compared to PvE. When you can get 50K xp in 30 seconds in Craglorn and it takes probably 3 hours of PvP to get that much xp, something is wrong. Even boosting to daily kill quest to give 10% of a level would mean a week of pvp for 1 vet level when you figure in xp earned from kills. As it is now, it would take a year of pvping to reach vr12, at which point VR rank will have been probably been increased to 15 or higher.

PvP XP is far too slow. They need to increase it further.

There is a 'special' campaign at the moment that gives double PVP exp. Its only running for 14 days, so move your 'guest' campaign to there and have some fun.

Since so many are doing that, the battles are full on and a lot of fun.

Taking a keep gets you like 3-4k Vet points, kills like 100-300 on averge, killing NPC guards 100-300 each depending on levels. You have to be in aan active campaign to do it but i think last night just being on for an hour i got at least 100k from v2-v3. On Wabbajack.

100k an hour is really slow.

It would take over 50 hours to go from vr11-12 :(

Why you in a rush? For all I know thwe xp scales based on your vet rank so you may get more.

Im in no rush to level as im not all to interested in the current PvE content.

The only way to level VR seems to be just grinding the bosses in craglorn.. super repetative and is the only way to not spend months grinding. You can get 2-3% a boss and it's on a constant rotation with bosses about 1-2min apart plus the time for respawn if your group kills to fast. Thats my experience at vr4 anyways.

I really wish the end game content was pvping but it's more about veteran levels and now its more abouto waiting for championship system because everyone hates veteran. If we can just have a reason to pvp like more xp or rewards for doing task in cyrodill (not small rewards) it would bring people to the table for pvp. The rewards don't even have to be xp, maybe a item or anything to make people go to crydodill. Right now seems like grind the VR grind then rage quit before even pvping.

Even with double xp it's not worth it. You can just kill a mob or something in far less time it takes to kill a player. If you can even kill that player. Pvping seems pointless until your vr14. Unless you don't care about maxing out then it's not so pointless.
