Subscription Canceled by Zenimax 3 Days After Fixing Autoban Mistake

Friday night I was a victim of autoban, which took about a day for them to fix. Exactly three days later (down to the minute?) I get an email that my subscription was refunded (sounding like I requested it). I log into the account website and see that it lists the game as being refunded too. Checking the payment account (paypal) the 14.99 for the subscription was actually refunded, but the 79.99 for the original game was not. I could re-purchase and re-subscribe and have access to my account again. I'd have to pay an additional 79.99 to buy the game for a second time since the account status shows the game as having been refunded (even though I did not receive a refund for it).

If I didn't love this game, didn't have friends playing it with me (and very upset over all of this happening again and again), or I actually did bot, I would have just walked away at this point. But since I do love the game, do have friends playing it with me, and don't bot, I'm stuck waiting for this new mistake to get fixed and dreading the next one that ZOS makes on my account. I have a feeling I've been marked for life. :(

    Your not marked for life. They have some automated systems in place they whomever unbanned you didn't remove you from. Don't worry. Just give them a call. Ask for a supervisor and work it out.

    Personally just waiting them to fix it is frustrating with thier volume of tickets. I'd call them directly to find out what is happening and what they are going to do to fix it and hopefully by when

    You're not alone, there's another thread for it on this forum. They've accidentially refunded (and cancelled the accounts of) those who were unbanned.

    I tried to call, but no call back after six hours. I issued an email ticket at the same time so I got back a response saying they were leaving it to that ticket since it was responded to first (within an hour) asking for confirmation information. It also looks like they can't do anything about it until their account site maintenance is done.

    I was mistakenly banned on the 26th and after doing some research here on the forums i can see that many others also are experiencing the same problem.

    I sent in about 4-5 tickets since yesterday and even sat on hold for 40 min to talk with customer support. All she did was escalate my priority level. I have gotten replies from my tickets fairly fast, one explaining that i was indeed "permanently banned" but he said he could not see what for. The next reply was asking me to send my information in like, my security question, UserID, last 4 of my Credit card.

    I did this and I have yet to hear anything back since i sent in my information.

    But, progress! Yesterday and up to about 1 hour ago i was unable to access the forums and it kept saying "Sorry, Permission denied" i'm assuming because of the ban. As you can see i am now able to access the forums once again.
