My password is correct but will not log me in game

Ok I have a wierd problem.. I just got home from work today and when I decided to log in to play the game it kept telling me my password was incorrect (specifically my log in information is incorrect). At first I panicked because I thought my account was hacked.

However thats not the case because that same password allows me to log in to my account on this website. I did so and I decided to change my password thinking it was a bug.

Ok so I logged out from the website and loaded up the game again with the new password and it still doesn't recognize it! It keeps telling me my password is incorrect.

However I went back to this very website and tried logging into my account. The new password works. What the heck is wrong? I'm very frustrated that it's not letting me log in thinking my password is wrong..

Edit: I double checked my password and account name in the fields on the log in screen. They are indeed correct. I'm clueless why they don't work in the game menu but they allow me to access my billing and other account information on the website here.

Good thought but no thats not it.. I tried it with no caps. all caps. first letter caps. Nothing is working.. It's really mystifying.

As I said I can access my account on the website here but it won't log me in game. I just don't know why.

Im sure eso was case unsensitive for the loginid until the craglorn patch at least, but yet for some internal things like addons it would keep working with case sensitive data for them to work. I know because I had to type my acc name in the lua file of an addon (esohead?) as required, but I was doing it without caps, and the server kept rejecting esohead from working.

After 8months logging without upper cases I forgot I used them... anyways I wrote it with upper cases in the client (unnecesary) back in that day so I dont know if maybe they made it sensitive and you are missing some caps in the loginid rather than the password.

TLDR: loginid, upper cases, client.

Still no go. Also, if I use the wrong password, the authentication server rejects me pretty much immediately.

I am also currently having this problem..i login to the website and it says my login info is fine, password username and everything works fine. However, when i try to login to my account via the actual game it says my password/ username is incorrect
