Out-of-date/invalid client?

Hi, I just logged into ESO using the same client I've been using since beta and apparently I have an out-of-date/invalid client. I find this odd as the client didn't ask me to update at all when I clicked 'play'. I was really hoping to level up my sorcerer today, but I can't if the client won't let me in. What do I do? I've tried restarting the client and restarting it. As well as running as admin, but nothing happens, it worked fine yesterday.
EDIT: Also just tried re-installing the client. Didn't work either and didn't present me with anyway to update.
EDIT 2: Just downloaded the US version on the same client. That one works fine but the EU one still won't let me on.
