I was only getting them from time to time but since today's patch 1.1.2 they seem to have increased alot more...

Same issue. Seems like they have a leak just like they did with the memory issue they just hot fixed

I've got the same problem. Since the hot fix CPU it's spiking all the time every 30 sec's to 100% and freezes for 3-4 sec. Especially in City's. Jumping from 70% to 100%.
I still have 50 FPS, no drop there.

You mean "constant" CPU spikes.

I fixed the previous one that remained from beta with the "get requested threads" line fix, but now after the patch it's happening again and it's just choking my system to hell.

Half tempted to revert that change to see if it fixes it, but I'm doubting it. I even checked to make sure my edit hadn't been changed.

Now that I look at it, It *did* change. Going to see if setting it back fixes it.

That file *was* set to read only... grr.

Seems to have fixed it.

The line specifically is

SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"

Default value was -1.

Changed to 0. Works fine now.

So, Tech Support.. what the heck exactly does this line do, and why the hell does it fix the problem?

Was a fix suggested in another thread way back in beta when this became a problem in the first place.

Changing those two lines to 0 worked for me. No more stutters.
