I just use Immovable from the Heavy Armor tree for those encounters, since it lasts longer and the damage from Poison Mist either isn't ticking enough or is too lack-luster to be worth it.

Plus Immovable uses Stamina instead of Magic. ;)

You are really missing the point of the post. The purpose of the Mist is to be invulnerable to control effects, take less damage, and be able to escape with a little more speed. It's not a stand there and take it skill like Immovable.

Nothing will make you immune to ground based CCs. Encase and dark talons will always affect you - just like you cannot block ground based AoE damage. Knockdowns, knockbacks and stuns won't touch you though.
    - The Psijic Order
    - TKO
    - Dominant Dominion
    - The Noore

Seems pretty silly to have ground based CCs effect Mist... doesn't it?

PS- it does say ALL control effects...
