Login issue: Can log in to all but 1 character.

Hello,
I'm like most everyone else reading this thread I cannot login to the game....... . . but only on 1 character, my main. I can login to all other toons, but not my main. I was able to login right after the patch the other night but noticed a lot of lag (which I never experienced even though I play on highest setting). My PC even had a pop-up warning me that my computer was running slow (that's a first). I have only read little on the forums but this appears to be due to some call a "Memory Leak". After I logged out last night everything appeared to be fine other than the extreme lag (both in/out of game).

Today I try to login my main Ebonhart V2 DK in Stormhaven. Keep in mind I can login into character select, but after I select the character the character is retrieved and the Stormhaven loading screen appears. Then I get booted with "An unknown Error has occurred".

Once again I can login to all other characters, just not my main.
Also my brother just tried to login to all of his characters on my PC for the first time and was successful with all.

As most people may have figured out, this is not an issue that can be fixed on our end. My personal advice would be to check back periodically and wait for the hotfix.

I thought I would post and share my personal issue as it may differ/compare to others. The more info shared the better.

In famous words of Cadwell, "I've had the oddest feeling we've discussed this before, or did I already mention that?"

In case you are using the addon "EsoHead" please deactivate that one. I had the exact same error code. Apparently the saved variables for the Esohead.lua become so large that the game cannot load them before you get a timeout which then leads to that message.

Of course other reasons could also be behind this, but that one was the culprit in my case (that file made up 6.5 of 16 mb in size of all my variables).

    @HarleyQuinceyeb17_ESO

I just tried disabling all Addons then repairing client= no fix
Then I deleted all addons manual and repairing= no fix

I also lowered my video settings from high to low= no fix

I guess I will just be playing my alt until support responds to my ticket.
    Thanks for the help though!

I'm sorry to hear that. Here's hoping you get a callback or some other timely answer so you can play your main again as well.

Okay I just tried deleting the entire "Live" folder. I watched it as I logged in and noticed that after hit play on my character and the loading screen comes up it automatically created a new "Live" folder with a "SavedVariables" folder.

Under the "Saved Variables" folder was "ZO_Ingame.lua".

Also 2 other .txt files: "AddOnSettings.txt" and "UserSettings.txt".

I'm not sure if this is a part of the issue or not but I'll keep trying new things.

Also I might add that I am showing under Control Panel/Programs/Progams and Features, that I have "The Elder Scrolls Online Beta"
