Choppy animation

Since I first logged in the morning everything seems really “choppy”. No smooth movements from anyone or anything. This isn’t happening all the time, but it’s enough to force me to log off simply because I can’t hardly move at times.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
I did send in a ticket through the UI, but I gave up on that part. I still have tickets over a week old that have yet to addressed.
