"Unstable flame" ability lost animation post-patch

I've lost the "burning claw" effect that came with the DK's unstable flame ability. In fact, enemies that I attack with this ability also don't "look" like they're on fire, even though the swooshing sound that goes with the effect is still there and there health clearly decreases from being on fire.
I've repaired the client, logged out and back in, restarted the game and tried reloadui all to no effect. Any ideas?
