How about a "Joining Encounter in Progress" pull where it pulls the people who are ahead into the mob fight happening in the back?

Or even better. It applies to both players and mobs, and suddenly the group has one boss and 100 smaller and elite enemies to fight all at the same time

I think you’re missing the point. People don’t want to run the older content… at all. The carrot on the stick, being the Undaunted Event, is pushing us into those queues.

Normal or Veteran it doesn’t matter, you get the same reward, maybe if the rewards equated to time expectancy you’d have more people queuing for Vet, but why would anyone queue for a random Veteran Dungeon just to land in a half decade old Lair of Maarselok that lasts 30 minutes due to mechanics designed to waste your time, to get the same reward as someone who ran Normal Fungal Grotto I in 4 minutes? It doesn’t make sense.

Like earlier suggested, if you don’t want fast dungeons, find a group that shares your interest and run with them. Random is random.

What are they supposed to do with this? I agree the survey isn't perfect, and I don't quite understand the focus on individual classes in the subclassing era, but I spent some time filling it out, including some thoughts about how each class stands on its own and how subclassing affected each class. It did not take anywhere near five hours.

Any actual suggestions about a better way for them to go about gathering feedback? I mean really, not trying to be rude. I don't have the answers, but I'm personally glad to see them trying something after all these years. I hope the survey gives them something useful to act on, or at least helps them come up with better questions and more specific things to focus on (and that they take time to communicate back to us what they take away from the survey and what the next steps that result from it might be).

I had someone visit my house and tell me I could "make millions" selling house builds, which obviously itself sounds like a scam.
So they gave me a tour of their builds and they seemed pretty good.
They claimed they had a lot of enemies in the housing community because they "accidentally" copy and pasted a build of someone elses work and sold it.
I told them, that is sad, but it's a risk when you share a house.
The game lets you just copy and paste entire builds of other people's homes with addons.
So anyway I was doing a dungeon and someone complimented me on my Viking themed character and similar styles, and I told them I had a meadhall too.
I invited them over and they asked if I'd "bought the build" because someone had shown them the *exact same hall* but undecorated, and tried to sell it to them for a lot of gold.
TBH I don't know if I'm flattered, but I spend quite a bit of time and gold and effort over years to get this place finally done, if it is done.
I would have prefered if they'd asked me or told me they were going to.
I've barely had any visitors and have literally 2 guestbook entries and 3 recommendations, so I'm surprised he would even try.

If someone tries to tell you this build though, please let me know, and know that it is stolen.

I don't think there are any rules or ways to protect players from this happening, so I don't think it's even technically an offence, but it's not cool.

I'm kind of in between because I do like trials and dungeons but I also don't have any dedicated guild groups that I do stuff with on a regular basis and play solo often..

Anyway, I do like subclassing as a system. But I do think some of the skill lines need buffs to make it feel like it should. In particular, I think cleave/AOE feels bad on most classes making beam feel like too obvious of a choice. That said, I love that I can make characters that feel more unique and customized to the stories I have in mind for them. I think it makes the game feel more elder scrolls, which I dig.

i love Subclassing.

it has made eso more enjoyable for me. Healing, Tanking, Damage Dealing, questing, stealing from NPCs and containers.
it even made me play more Battlegrounds.

Speed running is a first world problem. In other words, it's not a problem.

People should be speeding through normal dungeons as fast as possible anyway. We've all done them too many times already. No reason to go back ever except for the event boxes and tickets.

If you don't want to speed run group with some like minded friends. But don't go telling the rest of us we have to change our normal behavior just for you.

Hi, I miss the zone events that would require all the players to go to a particular zone and that zone would feel like it did when it was first released. That was a really fun vibe and I'm not sure but it seems like that isn't happening any more with Golden Pursuits. Maybe it would be cool if the golden pursuits could be centered on a zone. ☮️

It’s a magic blast coming out of a book. It’s not a laser gun. Therefore, not immersion breaking. Hell, you can make a beam in Skyrim with enough points in Destruction by slotting chain lightning or blizzard or whatever in both hands. If the problem’s that it looks too smooth… look at instances of “wizards fight by shooting giant beams of magic at each other in a tug of war” scenes. Same thing.
