Wow. I actually cannot believe the comments on here. The people she encountered were using HATE SPEECH. That is completely different than just “saying something mean”. Yes, this is absolutely something to be upset about and yes, cry about if you need to. From what OP said, that was definitely a gendered attack. Admitting that you were upset by this doesn’t make you weak, and I honestly cannot believe people would come on here to imply that you are.
As to what ZOS should do, they should actually punish people who get reported for something like this.

Speaking from the perspective of someone employed for years in the mental health field, this is not accurate, and it is often used to defend bullying.
That being said, I think reporting was appropriate. I think the support shown by many here in the community is appropriate, and I especially appreciated suggestions to derail things.
I have a dear friend who, unless she is grouped with friends, goes "invisible" online so that no one can chat or annoy her, because it literally happens every darn time.

People should not put up with discrimination, though. Things like racism, sexism etc lead to much more than just "hurt feelings". Of course, harassment in games is only a small part of a big problem, but it doesn't mean that it's not a problem at all.
Western Skyrim: Now a dead zone?

It’s sad to see. Since the event has ended, Western Skyrim has become even more of a ghost town than Murkmire or Clockwork City. Can’t even complete the dailies because there just aren’t enough players in the zone to help. The harrowstorms wouldn’t be so bad to solo if the crows weren’t so OP. Are the other platforms experiencing a similar situation in Skyrim? Just curious.

Got crown scammed
Got crown scammed for 900k back in March. Sent screenshots of scammer's username and character name in a ticket. I thought that was the worst of it. I thought Zos had my back. To this day absolutely zero gold has been returned to me by customer support. Well, I refuse to play a game, much less give them my hard-earned money, when they don't even care enough to see to it that you are made whole after an incident like this. They don't even give you closure. They say, "We'll recover your stolen items if we can"(but we won't tell you when we decide not to). And by the way, we won't be communicating with you about our actions against the offender.

I have delt with people making fun of me for physical imperfections for over 30 years. I learned a long time ago that the best way to deal with it, was to ignore their commentary...because what they were saying was not true, it was just being said to be hurtful. I stop letting it hurt me and life is better.

Ball groups are flourishing in this current test. Only proponents of that style of ‘gameplay’ would support this test.

Get a metronome app (either onto your pc or your mobile, does not matter where, it's the sound only what you need) set it to 57-58 BPM (beat per minute, it's slightly below the the 1 sec cooldown interval which would be 60 BPM), and then just simply press light attack and skill when you hear the tick. (tick: la skill, tick: la skill, tick: la skill, ...)
Start with one simple spamable skill like force pulse, and just practice with that to get the rhythm. When you get the hang of it then add a dot like elemental blockade and practice with two skill (tick: la blockade, 8x tick: la forcepulse, tick: la blockade, 8x tick: forcepulse ...) Then move blockade to backbar and practice barswap too, just with these two skill, nothing more (tick: la blockade swap, 7x tick: la forcepulse, 1x tick: la forcepulse swap, tick: la blockade swap, ...) Then keep adding skills on back and frontbar one by one to build up your rotation, just practice each step until you feel comfortable with the number of skills you're using before adding another one.
Wow. That sounds.... horrible. Why would I ever want to play a game like that / play a game that requires that? There's nothing remotely fun or interesting or desirable about that kind of thing. Way to turn "playing a game" into a phenomenally tedious job.*

* and yes, I know - different people enjoy and value different things. I guess there must be some people out there who are in to that. Or have enough interest in "topping leaderboards"/etc to make the mind-numbing tediousness of perfecting game skills in that way, to be endurable.

If only that was true... The way I see it ZOS is not currently listening to feedback from anyone. Not even class reps. They are just doing their thing, which is sometimes pretty misguided.
