Wanted to follow up here. The communication drop off is on me, so apologies on that. We are working on getting more info here internally and forgot to follow up in the locked thread. We are still looking into this, along with several other issues happening at the moment. The intention was not to shut down communication. We are looking to get an update out soon.
Much like what others have said, if your intention was not to shut down communication, why lock the thread? The thread should never be closed just because you are 'looking into it/getting answers' because its going to make everyone fester.. and then to shut down consequent threads because its a 'duplicate' sending everyone to the locked thread? Well thats just a nice way of telling everyone what you really think! Why after weeks and weeks of threads and comments about the same thing advising you that 'this is still happening' are you still not giving updates or answers regarding this? A great question by another player that needs to get answered is why is this acceptable by a guild but would never be allowed by an individual?

Well it has one of the biggest advantages in the game, so something has to balance out. When you can turn invisible and delete someone in literally seconds, there needs to be counterplay. You don’t get to be invincible and kill everything on a whim.

One of the great consequences of modernity's obsession with perverting and destroying the English language is that grandiose terms like "epic" have been misused (admittedly, even I misuse it) to the point where people legitimately think it's just a millennial slang word.
Epic, in this context, simply means that the struggle was bombastic, worthy of recognition and remembrance in mythic sagas in ages to come.

As for 'wing buffet', I'm aware the word 'buffet' has two meanings and two pronounciations, and so when I read it, I choose the meaning that fits and disregard the other.
The thing is that it's an international game with many people who are not native English speakers, playing the English version because there's none in their own language. And most people abroad will not know the other meaning of buffet not related to food. I learnt English at school for 9 years, I think, I've been playing games, using websites, reading news in English since perhaps 1999. I engage much more with English-language media than most people in my country (most people do not read international news or debate on international forums). I think I have above-average English skills for a non-native person. Still, I never came across "buffet" with the meaning of "strike" until perhaps 2 years ago (or at least it never caught my attention).
So for the absolute majority of non-native English speakers playing ESO in English, "wing buffet" just sounds completely weird. Like a joke, and absolutely nothing else because they just don't know the other meaning. That could have easily been avoided. Especially since I have the feeling they might have chosen this wording deliberately just to make a pun (there are many words that would have fit just as well without that double-meaning, after all; and also, they pointed out the "funny" pun in the announcement news article - several times even).
I'm not saying the English texts needs to be contorted to accomodate players who are not native English speakers. But if something will most likely not function well for many players, and the only reason it came up was just a pun anyway, I question whether it was the correct choice to go for this and not a different term instead.

I've seen a clip I couldn't stop laughing at:
2 players, DD and Tank, versus a Dragon.
DD, on the side of the Dragon, dies.
Tank keeps taunting the Dragon and slowly goes to res the DD.
Ressing animation starts, when you see the red cone of a Fus Roh Dah getting charged.
DD gets ressed! Tank activates block! ...
DD flying ungraciously to Jone and Jode XD
So funny to see. Thanks to whoever uploaded the clip.

I think the new animations look horrible, all of them. The dk visuals will surely cause migranes with constant flashes and it will bring issues in pvp, because all the morhs share the same animation and visual effect, so it is hard for opponent to tell which is being used. Not to mention the animations will hide every proc effect so you eat 10k dmg from time to time and won't see why.
The 2 hander animations just need to be scrapped. You can cancel each animation before the visual even begins which causes some very high bursts and instant executioners. Otherwise the 2 handed animations feel very clunky and look like from some raid shadowlegends animations.

I share this sentiment. I would like this function for other reasons.
I am tired of the forum mismanagement.
Posts get deleted without cause, people get banned, threads get opened and closed willy-nilly.
There is no recourse or accountability for bad moderators.
