Playstation trophies and addons.

At first I didn't even think this would be a problem, but since someone else brought it up, and it's not as far a stretch to think Playstation will actually block trophies/achievements from being earned if we have any addons installed, since they are pretty strict with their system and block the achievements with mods like in Skyrim and Fallout 4. Addons are essentially mods.
So @ZOS_Kevin, are PS users safe from this restriction with addons?

Just checked in with the team. You should not expect issues between gaining trophies while using addons. If you find there is an issue after launch, please let us know.

Assuming it's the same with PlayStation, I had some Addons enabled on the Xbox including the Minimap, and unlocked 2 Xbox achievements this evening: Hero of Western Solstice and West Solstice Grand Adventurer, so doesn't appear to have caused any problems.

Given there was no restrictions for PC users using the addons to find POIs on the map more easily, I do not assume that ESO console addons would have such a block/restriction.

Even the API used in the addons is provided, and used the same way, by ZOs. They use it in their vanilla ESO lua source code! Technically there shouldn't be any blocks like Kevin already said.

And the achievements you earn are handled by the ESO servers, not any Sony PlayStation servers right? So Sony/PS should not be involved in any way here (afai understand), except that they provide the console to play ESO on?
Or are the "Trophies" something different, not provided by ESO itsself, but by Sony/PS?

We are not talking about the in-game achievements.
    Trophies are a PlayStation thing,
Xbox Achievements are an Xbox thing,
Steam Achievements are the equivalent on PC.

    Okay, sorry for the confusion.
    Thanks for the explanation.
