Random Dungeon Groups

im sure this isnt something new but ive noticed the frequency has gotten higher lately , i barely load into a random dungeon with other random ppl i didnt group with and que , and just as the screen loads i was apparently kicked and got removed from the dungeon with a 15minute penalty for leaving the dungeon early , this needs to be addressed like if the person was voted out before a boss kill like that than there should be no penalty as one example.....and for the obvious responses ill likely see no i literally did nothing as i didnt even finish loading into the dungeon as they apparently started their vote kick (likely some friends who grouped up to que)...that is kinda beyond ridiculous to get penalized like that.

If you are kicked from a group, you're not supposed to get a penalty. That should only occur if you abandon the group.

Then either it bugs out, or that's not how it works nowadays. My friend and I got insta-kicked from a group like a month ago, and we both got put on cd.

This sometimes seem to happen if a lot of companions are "out" and 1 of the members gets booted .

This could have something to do with the bug that kicks you from group when you get into the instance. Not sure what the mechanism behind the removal is.

This is a known bug with group finder, albeit uncommon. It happens with premade groups too. I've been getting it a bit more frequently this patch. When you port in and seem to be removed from group, someone must re-invite you back before you are removed from area to fix it. If you aren't re-invited fast enough and are removed from the instance, before being invited, it will happen again. This is not really possible with pugs though. No idea what causes it, just like the old phantom group you get, or losing group when zone-hopping.
