What are some of the most influencial characters we meet in ESO?

In The Elder Scrolls universe there's usually a few big names that change the course of history for a time to come like Tiber Septum & Alessia.

In ESO we're privileged to meet some very important characters in the Elder Scrolls universe like:

Vivec/Almalexia/Sotha Sil
Shalidor, founder of the mages guild
The rulers of the three banner war
The last Ayleid King

who else in our Vestige's travels would you characterize as important or influencial to the Elder Scrolls Universe?

    Without doubt; M'aiq!
Contrariwise, if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.Lewis Carroll

According to the pre-ESO lore, this entire period was pretty much lost to history and dismissed as basically a dark age for Tamriel as various imperial claimants falsely vied for the throne.

So while I don't expect that to hold up in future games, it does argue that the only truly influential figures are the ones that we know about in the 3rd and 4th eras.

So the Tribunal, those Telvanni Magisters, a few of the Psijics, Mannimarco, Vanus Galerion, the Tharn Family, etc.

Now, if you want to know an NPC unique to ESO who's the most influential, I'm going to put in a plug for the Drake of Blades.

See, she's protecting the Dragonfire Cathedral, which is going to be rather important when it comes time for Tiber Septim to renew the Alessian Covenant...

She may not be remembered, but she's certainly influential.

Unremembered, but influential, is the right point. And I would nominate Lyranth. Turns up at carefully chosen critical points in several stories, but no mortal is going to give credit to a daedra. That’s the secret for staying out of the history books.

Also, the companions from the main quest because they helped the Vestige with stopping the Planemeld, and in other adventures beyond.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Shalidor, founder of the mages guild

    Ahem.

Shalidor was not the founder of the Mage's Guild, nor even a member - he predates it by centuries. He founded the College of Winterhold, constructed the Great Maze of Labyrinthian and was the first to call himself 'Arch-Mage'. Vanus Galerion founded the Guild, and named the guild leader Archmage in Shalidor's memory.

Other influential people of global / nigh global influence:
    - Chevalier Renald
    - Mannimarco, naturally
    - Leovic, last of the Longhouse Emperors, technically - if pretty cheaply
    - Rada al-Saran, arguably
    - Varen Aquilarios, the Prophet and rebel against Leovic

off the top of my head:

    The three

Every Daedric prince (or reviled by them if not)- except Jyggalag, the daedric prince of being forgotten, (but we get his alter ego a lot and can only interact with him at the end of an era) - we probably see or interact with Hircine the most.

    Significant lesser daedra (lyranth, Fa-Nuit-Hen)

    Some telvanni magisters

    The ruddy man-but-not-the-ruddy-man

    Haskill

Each faction leader (and Prince Irnskar)

    Count Verandis,

Dragons! in your own homeland? (too many to list)

Abnur Tharn, Clivia Tharn, Euraxia Tharn

    Bazrag

    Svagrim, Svana

    The Despot of Markarth

    The wilderking/queen

    Lyris, Sai-Sahan, Varen Aquilarious, Mannimarco

    Titus Valerius

the mage, the serpent, the warrior

Augur of the obscure- even if it's only an intelligent artifact

    There really isn't that many.

You have the Tribunal, Mannimarco who goes on to become a god and then job to the TES4 player character, Maybe Fyr but he doesn't do much in general other then cure the TES3 players corprus and then your usual Daedric Princes like Mehrunes Dagon who goes on to cause alot of Destruction at the end of the Third Era which was part of his plan though he probably wanted to destroy the planet as he is the Prince of Destruction.
