Ooo I "like" the new "locked character despite ticket submitted" feature that - while once popular in battlegrounds and PvP has now shifted to include everyone! That's right! Everyone can now submit to the affectation of having a locked character for NO GOOD REASON AT ALL! It's happening to players NOT in PvP just working on Jester event stuff! You can't play. Your character is locked. This can happen randomly to ALL OF THEM and it can happen AT ANY TIME for NO REASON.
SMH. Look ZoS. I'm already on the fence and my plus renews this month. Every time something like this happens, I move a little further from renewing. I know you hear "money lost" but say "Meh" because you have new players joining up all the time... but when I leave a game, I tend to leave forever without a backwards glance because I've taken a couple of years to weigh the pros and cons. I'm at the end of my years of weighing, methinks.
Logged out last night; fancy NEW "Error 209 - PatchManifestError_Version Fail". Just fired up after out enjoying the sunshine all morning, get shiny NEW "Error 209 - PatchManifestError_Version Fail" dialog and big green/blue "Repair" button.
This is getting rediculous. BRAND NEW INSTALL ON BRAND NEW BUILD, got Error 209 right out the gate. Repair from a new download/install? No. Bad code.
Fix your ***, guys. Feeling shades of ancient Eve and WoW here.

I usually have to close the launcher and reopen it to get rid of the Repair suggestion.
Actually, this has been common right after releases for several years. At least, it's often happened ONCE after a release. I'm not used to it going on this long.
I'm still getting the patch manifest error, even after applying ZOS' recommended fix of adding the Zenimax directory to the virus-scanning exclusion list (which, by the way, isn't exactly ideal from a security viewpoint). Just now, I tried twice to start ESO, and both times got a small "crash report" popup because the app had crashed.
Now I'm getting out of memory errors every time I try to start ESO, even though my PC still has plenty of free RAM. I normally use the Steam launcher, and even after restarting Steam, I'm getting this error launching ESO.
Finally got it to start by rebooting my PC. Forgot to mention: the earlier crashes always occurred on the character login screen, never the player login screen that precedes it, and they only occurred when my RAM usage got up to about 9.5GB out of 16. It seems that ESO can use a great deal of RAM.
